AFFIDAVIT ATTESTING TO ABANDONMENT OF CHILD

WE, JULIET M. ANO-OS, married, and CRISTINA GRACE A. SALUDO, single, Filipinos, of legal
ages and residents of Dampas District, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines, after having been sworn in
accordance with law, hereby depose and say:

1. That I we personally know Spouses Leonardo Ranis and Ruth Erano who were our neighbors in
Dampas District, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines;

2. That we likewise personally know LODEMAE E. RANIS, the only child of Spouses Leonardo
Ranis and Ruth Erano, who was born on September 28, 1997, at the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial
Hospital, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines;

3. That sometime in the year 2004, we noticed that Leonardo Ranis was no longer living with his
wife, Ruth Erano-Ranis and their only child. Since then we have not seen him (Leonardo) in our barangay
and when their residential house was leased by Ruth Erano-Ranis, she and her daughter (Ruth and
Lodemae) transferred to Mansasa District at the house Ruth’s mother, Lucresia P. Erano;

4. That we further personally know that Leonardo Ranis has not communicated nor gave support to
his wife and daughter since he abandoned them in the year 2004 until the present;

5. That we have not seen Leonardo Ranis in any public place in Tagbilaran City, Bohol,
Philippines, since the year 2004 until the present

6. That we execute this affidavit voluntarily to attest that Leonardo Ranis has abandoned his wife
and daughter (Ruth and Lodemae) since the ear 2004 until the present;

7. That Affiants attest to the truth of the foregoing statements and for whatever legal purpose this
may serve.

AFFIANTS FURTHER SAYETH NONE.
