A. COURSE DESIGN

COURSE TITLE : JAPANESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE N5

NOMINAL DURATION : 150 HOURS

COURSE DESCRIPTION :

The course is designed to equip the beginning learner of Japanese language


enough competency to communicate in simple and appropriate Japanese, as well as
enough knowledge of the language to continue language studies to a higher
proficiency. It is designed to equip the trainees with language proficiency equivalent
to Level N5 of the Japanese Language Test Proficiency. This presupposes mastery
of the Kanas and around a hundred of the Kanji characters.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

The trainee must possess the following requirements

• At least high school graduate


• At least 18 years old
• Can communicate both orally and in written form.
• Physically fit, mentally alert, and emotionally stable
• With good moral character and with or without work experience.
