K to 12 Program: Ladder to Success

Stephanie Marie Venturanza, a student and a leader.


DepEd pronounces for the possible implementation of the K+10+2 new learning curriculum. This means that
two years for Senior High School will be optional. Students and parents have a choice whether to take Senior High
School or not.
“Sa tingin ko mas magiging beneficial kung makakatapos ng K-12 Curriculum.” Stephanie uttered. I believe
that K–12 will me more opportunities and extra knowledge that will is essential in preparing for my college. K to 12
program developed my skills”, she added.
Stephanie is one of the students who believe that K to 12 program provides opportunities to them. As a
student, she is very determined to finish her studies up to college. Her stepping stone in reaching her dreams is the
acquired knowledge from K to 12 Basic Education Program.
Moreover, she is the elected president of Rotaract Youth Batangueno. Through K to 12 program, her
leadership and social skills were fully developed. Her skills to lead the organization can be attributed to programs
offered by the K to 12 Curriculum.
Students strive to earn further knowledge to succeed in life. Curriculum may be changed but with the torch of
knowledge everyone can face their fears and struggles can turn into success.
With K to 12, Stephanie is almost there reaching the fruit of her hardwork. She’s few steps closer to success.
