Project ANGAT: “For a Better Future”

IV. RATIONALE:

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who
prepare for it today.”

The gender-friendly Angeles City Science High has a reputation for giving students a lot of work
practically every day, which has been linked to poor mental and physical health. Therefore,
Project ANGAT: “For a better future” is being launched by the officers of the 9-Uracil class of
2023–2024. A project wherein we assist our peers with their academics in a manner appropriate
for a student like ourselves. This effort aims to assist our classmates in reducing their academic
stress and anxiety.

OBJECTIVES:
 To help students achieve their desired grades.
 To lessen students academic stress
 To promote students mental health awareness

VI. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

Project ANGAT is a project wherein we hope to mold our classmates into an ‘Ambitious,
Notable, Goal-oriented, Admirable, and a Thriving’ student. Last academic year, Carlo Mihed N.
Gueco and I, Elyza Quin S. Mandap, began working on this project as part of the section 8-
Protium, wherein it was named as “Project Protium”. But now, I’ll be implementing this project
with my co-officers of 9-Uracil this school year, 2023 – 2024.

This project caters reviewers, pre-tests, pre-periodical assessments, and study sessions. It has
3 sub-units which are; Project Aikyam, Project Swadhyaya, and lastly Project Citta. Project
Aikyam is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Aikyam’ which means unity or harmony. This sub-unit
includes the quiz reviewers and the pre-periodical reviewers. While, Project Swadhyaya is
derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Swadhyaya’ that means ‘self-study’. Under this project, pre-tests
are launched before the actual quizzes or exams. Lastly, Project Citta which means mind
includes the study sessions that are open to all students in 9 – Uracil. In doing this project, we
hope that all of the objectives will be achieved.
