1. What is the present state of water scarcity in Barangay Sawata, San Isidro, Davao del Norte?
Dahil sa kuryente ga putol putol ang tubig sa ano.. tungod sa kuryente man gud dili makasupply og sakto sa
panginahanglan sa tubig mao na ang tubig magpatay siya. Pag ang kuryente maghinay mao na nga kulang ang
supply sa tubig diri sa sawata

Due to electricity interruptions, the water supply gets disrupted. Because of the unreliable electricity, it cannot
adequately supply the water needed, causing water to stop flowing. When the electricity becomes weak, there is a
shortage in the water supply here in our area.

2.What is the present state of water scarcity in Barangay Sawata, San Isidro, Davao del Norte?
Nagreklamo sila tungod kay kulang ang tubig ug dili sila masupplian ug dili maabot sa ilaha ang tubig usahay.
Kung maabot man galing kay hinay, pero talagsa lang pud ang mahitabo nga maabot.

They complained because there is a water shortage, and they are not being supplied with water sometimes.
Even when water does arrive, it is often slow, and it rarely reaches their location

3. How will the government address the challenges of water scarcity in Barangay Sawata and ensure sufficient
water resources?
Pakusgan ang kuryente para maka supply og insaktong tubig.

*Strengthen the electricity supply to ensure an adequate water supply.

4. What are the government's plans to alleviate the issue of water scarcity and improve the availability of potable
water in Barangay Sawata?

Mangita sila ug source sa kusog nga makasupply, nga igo jud makasupply sa sawata sa barangay sawata. Tubig nga
kusog nga makasupply diri sa barangay.

They should search for a reliable source that can supply sufficient water consistently to the barangay. They need to
find a strong water source that can supply ample water here in the barangay.

5. What insights do participants have regarding the impact of water scarcity of water resources in Barangay
Sawata?

Mao na gyud to siya mangita sila ug source sa tubig. Ahh.. Mangita silag source sa tubig nga kusog para ma
supplayan gyud ang ano.. ang sawata. Kinahangalan silag budget para duha, kay walay budget diha, dako manag
budget gud.

That's right, they should indeed search for a strong water source. Ahh... They need to find a robust water source to
ensure a sufficient supply for the community. They will require a budget for this undertaking because it involves
significant expenses. Without a budget, it would be challenging to allocate funds for this project.

1.What is the present state of water scarcity in Barangay Sawata, San Isidro, Davao del Norte?
-Dili sila maka accumudate sa kuan.. sa kuan sa, consumer nila.. sa needs sa tubig

-They are unable to accommodate the demand of their consumers in terms of water needs.

2.What are the issues and problems faced by the community settlers in Barangay Sawata due to water scarcity?
Tungod gyud sa sa supply sa tubig.
That is due to the water supply issue

3.How will the government address the challenges of water scarcity in Barangay Sawata and ensure sufficient
water resources?
Magkuan siguro sila og bag-ong kuan.. kanang unsay tawag ana? Kana, source sa tubig para masupplayan
ang Barangay sawata sa tubig. Dapat kanang nasa bugak man gud unta ang kuanon pero, wala lang
nadayon.

Perhaps they should consider establishing a new water.. source, commonly referred to as? a "water well"
or "water source." This would ensure a consistent water supply to Barangay Sawata. Ideally, the well
should tap into a “Bugak" source, but it seems that the previous attempt did not materialize.

4.What are the government's plans to alleviate the issue of water scarcity and improve the availability of potable
water in Barangay Sawata?

They should add additional water sources to increase the supply and meet the demand of the consumers.

Sawata?

Kita ani magrecommend gyud ta og kuan another source od water. Nga makuan nila, kanang masuplayan, kay
kulang man ang.. ang kuan karon, kay kulang man gyud.

I recommend that they seriously consider establishing another water source, such as a new well or tapping into a
different water supply. This will ensure a sufficient supply to meet the needs of the consumers since the current
water source is inadequate.

Kukulangan? Kuan supply sa tubig, tungod sa ilalom. Dili man yata sa kuryente kay naa man sikay generator.

Issue about sa tubig? Kulang jud ang source sa tubig kanang dili jud ma supplyan ang tanan tao diria.

Paano matutugunan? Mangita sila ug source na kusog ang tubig didto sila magkuha or sa tubod.
