findings to develop lessons or workshops that emphasize responsible
spending, budgeting skills, and the potential risks associated with
impulsive online purchases. This can empower students to make
informed decisions and develop healthy financial habits.
FUTURE RESEARCHERS This will provide a simpler way for future
Researchers to conduct research if their study is relevant to online
shopping of students, and profitability researchers might apply this
study to asses answers to challenges encountered by grade 10 students
IV. METHODOLOGY:
A. RESEARCH DESIGN
This is a quantitative study. This mini-research relied on student
analysis and quota sampling.
B. PARTICIPANTS/RESPONDENTS
Students in Grade 10 Cygnus at Saint Francis Integrated National
High School this academic year are the participants in this mini-
research. 2022-2023.
C. DATA GATHERING
For this study, the researchers created a questionnaire, which our
maths teacher evaluated and approved. Following that, the
questionnaires were circulated via a survey.
D. STATISTICAL TREATMENT
6
This mini-research will gather all the responses to the researcher’s
questionnaire and use a variety of statistical methods, such as
frequency, mean, and percentile rank.
FREQUENCY – The group of data in the table, as well as the
corresponding class frequency.
MEAN- This tool was utilized at Saint Francis Integrated
National High School to determine the gender of students,
preferred online shopping apps, form of payment, and
consequences of online purchasing among grade 10 students
in Section Cygnus.
