A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY THE

BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCL (BADAC) PLAN OF ACTION FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2023-2025 AND ALL ACTIVITIES EMBODIED THEREAT.

WHEREAS, DILG release Memorandum Circular No. 2022-141 entitled “Guidelines on the
Formulation of the Local Anti-Drug Plan of Action and Barangay Anti-Drug Plan of Action”;

WHEREAS, Section 51 of R.A. No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous
Drugs Act of 2022, provides that “Local government units shall appropriate a substantial
portion of their respective annual budgets to assist in or enhance the enforcement of said Act
giving priority to preventive or educational programs and the rehabilitation or treatment of drug
dependents”;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council will provide a list of anti-illegal drug
programs and activities on where a substantial amount may be appropriated;

WHEREAS, Sangguniang Barangay need to approved the recommendation plan of Barangay

Anti-Drug Abuse Council.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad xxx, Chairman Committee on Health &

Sanitation duly seconded by all members present be it.

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBEY RESOLVED to approved the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse

Council Plans of Action for Calendar Year 2023-2025;

RESOLVED FINALLY that copies of this resolution be transmitted to the Department of

Interior and Local Government Office for their information.
