AN ORDER ESTABLISHING CHECKPOINTS TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE AND EXITS
WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE BARANGAY

WHEREAS, the local Government shall promote the general welfare of its residents as mandated by the
Republic Act 7160 that read as follows:

R.A. 7160, Section 16,

“Every local government unit shall exercise the powers expressly granted, those necessarily implied
therefrom, as well as powers necessary, appropriate, or incidental for its efficient and effective governance, and
those which are essential to the promotion of the general welfare. Within their respective
territorial jurisdictions, local government units shall ensure and support, among other things, the
preservation and enrichment of culture, promote health and safety, enhance the right of the people to a
balanced ecology, encourage and support the development of appropriate and self-reliant scientific and
technological capabilities, improve public morals, enhance economic prosperity and social justice, promote full
employment among their residents, maintain peace and order, and preserve the comfort and
convenience of their inhabitants.”

WHEREAS, taking into consideration the Holiday Seasons and the global pandemic that is on course, in order to
control the crowd and minimize virus transmission, to ensure the suppression of the COVID-19 threat in the area
and prevent its spread in the barangay, certain measures have to be initiated by the local government
___________________and has to be implemented the soonest possible time

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of ______________________ shall ensure the security and safety of all
of its constituents, hence, promoting the general welfare of the people of Bansalan.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ______________________, Barangay Captain of Barangay

______________________, Davao del Sur, by virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby order the
following:

SECTION 1. ESTABLISHMENT OF CHECKPOINTS TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE AND EXITS OF

THE BARANGAY. A checkpoint shall be established in a strategic location in the main entrance and
exit of the Barangay.

SECTION 2. GUIDELINES ON THE RESIDENTS ENTERING THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION

OF THE BARANGAY. The following shall be implemented and observed in the Barangay for those
residents entering the Barangay, until further notice, to wit:

a. Curfew Hours of the residents entering the premises of the Barangay shall be 8:00 o’clock
in the evening until 4:00 o’clock in the morning.
b. Suspicious persons or activity shall be advised and reported to the appropriate Barangay
Officials.

SECTION 3. GUIDELINES ON THE NON-RESIDENTS ENTERING THE TERRITORIAL

JURISDICTION OF THE BARANGAY. The following shall be implemented and observed in the
Barangay for those non-residents entering the Barangay, until further notice, to wit:

a. No Helmet/Bonet Policy shall be observed.

b. The visitors or non-residents shall submit to record their names in a log book and present
to the appropriate authorities their Valid ID’s/CCTS Cards.
c. The visitors or non-residents shall state the purpose of their visit to the Barangay.
d. No visitors or non-residents can enter the premises of the Barangay on and pass 6:00
o’clock in the evening.
e. No entry shall be granted if the above-stated provisions are not satisfied or met unless for
meritorious reasons.

SECTION 4. PENALTIES. Failure to abide the above-stated provisions, violators shall be penalized and
be subjected to all penal provisions according to existing national and local laws and ordinances.
 SECTION 4. EFFECTIVITY. This order shall take effect on ________________________ and shall
remain in full force unless revoked or amended.
