“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2023 BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND

MANAGEMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY SAN JULIAN, BANTAY, ILOCOS SUR
WHEREAS, as provided by the Republic Act no. 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Act of 2010 every Local Government Unit (LGU) is tasked to create a Local
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, namely (1) Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, (2) Disaster
preparedness (3) Disaster Response, (4) Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery;
WHEREAS, the BDRRM Plan outlines the activities aimed at strengthening the capacity of the
Municipality of Bantay, Ilocos Sur to build silence;
WHEREAS, the BDRRMC of Barangay San Juian, Bantay, Ilocos Sur after careful study and
deliberation on the plan prepares, deemed it appropriate to approve the 2023 Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Plan;
NOW THEREOF, on motion of BDC member__Exequiel Anthony P. Pre_, duly made and
seconded by all BDC Member present, be it:
RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the 2023 Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Plan of Barangay San Julian , Bantay, Ilocos Sur;
RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of the resolution to all concerned authorities for the
information, guidance and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOSULY this _15th _day of _January_, 2023 at San Julian, Bantay,
Ilocos Sur.
