Materials And Tools:

● Original yarn:
Plush yarn Dolce YarnArt 120m (131 yds)/100g in blue - 30g
Plush yarn Dolce YarnArt 120m (131 yds)/100g in yellow - 10g
(You can substitute these yarns with another not plush bulky yarn with hook
4mm)
Substitute plush yarn: Himalaya Dolphin Baby 120m (131 yds)/100g (color
yellow 80313, brown 80336, white 80301), Velvet by Bernat 288m
(315yds)/300g (color Soft Sunshine), Baby Bee Adore a ball 100g/84m. You
can find plush yarn on Etsy, Amazon, LoveCrafts, Joann’s, Walmart and Hobby
Lobby.
● Hook US size G/6 (4 mm)
● Safety eyes 10 mm (you can substitute safety eyes with buttons or simply
crochet the eyes with black yarn). You can find them on Etsy, Amazon, Joann’s,
AliExpress.
● Fiber fill stuffing
● White and red cotton yarn for embroidery face
● Tapestry needle
● Black felt small piece
● Scissors

Finished Measurements:
Approximately 7 in/ 17 cm high using original yarn and hook G/6 (4 mm).

Crochet Abbreviations (US terminology):

dc - double crochet
dec – decrease
inc – increase
hdc – half double crochet
rnd(s) - round(s)
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st(s) - stitch(s)
() – repeat the content of the parenthesis as many times as the number after
parenthesis says.
The number after = is the total number of stitches in the rnd.

Arm (Make 2)
With plush yellow yarn and hook G/6 (4 mm) make a magic ring.
Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring = 6 sts
Rounds 2-3: 6 sts
!!! Switch to blue yarn, cut the yellow yarn
Rounds 4-13: 6 sts
Fasten off, leave the tail about 10 cm and cut the yarn.
One arm is done.
Rep rnds 1-10 for the second arm. Don’t stuff the
arms.

Legs & Body & Head

With plush yellow yarn and hook G/6 (4 mm) make a magic ring.
Round 1: 7 sc in magic ring = 7 sts
Rounds 2-3: 7 sts
!!! Switch to blue yarn, cut the yellow yarn
Rounds 4-10: 7 sts
Fasten off, leave the tail about 10 cm and cut the yarn. One leg is done.
Rep rnds 1-10 for the second leg. Do not cut yarn when the second leg is
finished. Stuff the legs.

Continue with plush blue yarn from second leg:

Round 11: 7 sc around the 1st leg’ sts, then make 7 sc around the 2nd leg’s sts
(this is how legs are attached to each other) = 14 sts

!!!Then with the tail of the first leg yarn you should do 1 sl st inside the legs to
prevent hole between the legs.

Round 12 (INC): 1 sc, 2sc in next st, sc in next 3sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 2

sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st, sc in next st = 18 sts
Rounds 13-17: sc in each st around = 18 sts
Round 18: sc in next 2sts, join 1 arm (st in next 3 sts arm and body together)
make sure that arm is on the side of the body!, sc in next 6sts, join 2
arm (st in next 3 sts arm and body together), sc in next 4sts = 18 sts

Round 19 (DEC): (sc in next 1 sts, sc dec)*6 times = 12 sts

Stuff the body.
Round 20 (DEC): (sc dec)*6 times = 6 sts
Round 21 (INC): 2 sc in each st around = 12 sts
Round 22 (INC):(2 sc in next st, sc in 1 next st)*6 times = 18 sts
Round 23 (INC): (2 sc in next st, sc in 2 next sts)*6 times = 24 sts
Round 24 (INC): (2 sc in next st, sc in 3 next sts)*6 times = 30 sts
Round 25-26: sc in each st around = 30 sts

Round 27: sc in 1 next st (Add a couple sts to make sure that dc will be in the
side of the head), hdc in 2 next sts, dc in 2 next sts, hdc in 2 next sts, sc
in 6 next sts, hdc in 2 next sts, dc in 2 next sts, hdc in 2 next sts, sc in 5
next st = 30 sts
Round 28: sc in 1 next st, hdc in 6 next st, sc in 6 next st, hdc in 6 next stssc in 1
next st = 30 sts

- HDC
- DC

Important!!!! If you use safety eyes (10 mm) insert them now between rounds
26 and 27 with 5 sts in between.
Stuff the head.
Fold the head in half and sc two sides together with sc 2 = 15sts
Fasten off, cut yarn and weave in ends.

Face embroidery:
1. If you use safe eyes, you must insert them when you crocheted the head. Or
sew the eyes to the head between rounds 26 and 27 with 5 sts in between.

2. With white cotton thread embroider eye whites.

3. With red thread embroider mouth between rounds 26 and 23 with 9 sts
between (1 option).
4. Also with the cotton thread using needle sculpting, shape the head. Use photo
as a guide.
5. Mouse – second option with piece of black felt. Crochet with red yarn ch 30
and with the tail of the same thread sew chain to the head between round 23
and 26. Then cut out the mouth from felt and glue it. I use glue gel.

That's all. Your toy is ready!
