I. NARRATIVE REPORT
Project LINGAP had a set task for the communications
committee on Wednesday prior to the event. I arrived at school
early, unaware that there were no classes, and ran into two of my
classmates, Kyla Palces and Ryan Sanchez, in the cafeteria. They
informed me there were no classes scheduled and that the reason
they were so early was because their committee's call time was at
8 a.m., so instead of returning home, I stayed to help. We started
with only a few students because only a few members of the
communications committee showed there. I even signed the
attendance for extra credit. We strolled two subdivisions after a
scorching day and listed 11 or more participants. Friday, the
logistics committee was assigned again for the venue; I arrived a
little late but still managed to help; due to my tardiness, I tried to
pull more participants after the assignment; I managed to pull four
participants, but only two showed up and received a certificate.

II. REFLECTIVE ESSAY

The previous event was thrilling and enjoyable, as students
were delighted to see these jail officers in uniform. They gave
valuable information for drug prevention and altered our
perceptions of detainees inside the BJMP. This made me think
positively towards persons who are in the BJMP for breaking the
law; everyone makes mistakes, and being behind bars is difficult.
Seeing those on parole or who have completed their sentences
makes me proud because these people qualify as renewed
persons since, like a broken hearted person, they always bloom
after being hurt.
