theme. The best way to know or

the story say or do.
b) Ask yourself, what will be the
results of those actions. Some
results are good and others may be
bad.
In the story “The Ant and the
Grasshopper”, the ant was so
hardworking and busy preparing
food for the rainy days. While the
Grasshopper was playing and not
even worrying about the coming

story running smoothly. Aside
from the characters, there are still
other elements of the story. One
element often answers the
questions where and when a story
takes place.
Today, we are going to discuss
the other element which is the
setting of the story. Every story
has a setting. The setting of a
story tells the place and time the
story happens. It can include a
specific time or place or it could
be a certain condition, like a
stormy night. The place maybe at
home, in the desert, in the jungle,
in a big city, and school. The time
can be on a sunny day, at night, in
the summertime, or during winter.
For example, in the story ''The
Three Little Pigs'', the setting is at
the pigs' houses (when they were
building them and when the wolf
visited them). This is where the
story takes place.
In Cinderella‟s story, the setting
