1. Which do you prefer, "SARILI BAGO ANG IBA" o "IBA BAGO ANG SARILI"?
Explain your answer.

I prefer “SARILI BAGO AND IBA”, as of the moment, I want to prioritize myself
because I also deserve to be loved, to be respected, and to have a life that is far from
chaos and harm. I am not being selfish what I want is that before I give to others I’m a
whole person who’s able to help and understand them wholeheartedly. I don’t want to
give to others while I’m on my vulnerable state because I feel like I’m being unfair to
them. I rather work on myself first so that I can give my all. How can I give to others if
there is lacking or an emptiness within me? For me, it’s not right to give or prioritize
others if I myself I’m not complete. Helping yourself first is not selfish, it is the
responsible and right thing to do. Not only will it improve your wellbeing, but it will also
make you a better person for those around you. Love those around you but remember that
you come first because you are that fountain for the love you give to others!

2. What does the saying "WHEN YOU ARE IN ROME, LIVE AS THE ROMANS
DO" mean?

It means “wherever you go, behave according to their custom and traditions”. A
tourists should become acquainted with the culture and traditions of the place they are
visiting. The reason they should conform to the local culture is because it promotes
peace. That persons who have a strong awareness of another culture can understand
diverse worldviews and can share, negotiate, and mediate cultural differences. That way a
sense of harmony spreads across the world. This not only promotes harmony but also
helps to resolve problems. As a result, tourists should respect and adhere to the cultures
of the countries they visit. For making everything easier to adjust in a new country,
especially a foreign country, tourists should be aware of the consequences they will
 confront so that they can easily adapt to the new environment where they
in. Furthermore, even if some individuals want to stay only in their hometown, they
also need to learn about the effects of migrating or visiting to a different country in order
to understand and help themselves to live with happiness.
