Instructions:

1. Given the necessary tools, materials, instrument and equipment


provided by the trainer, you are required to perform the following
tasks in accordance with the set performance criteria in the evidence
plan.

ASSEMBLE MULTI VOLTAGE REGULATED POWER SUPPLY


 Prepare schematic diagram
 Prepare materials for assembling the circuit
 Mount and Solder the electronic component properly
 Test and Inspect the assembled circuits
 Voltage measurement checking

2. Check the materials equipment provided to you before starting the


demonstration.

3. The assessment shall be based on the units of competency in the


Training Regulations and the Evidence Plan that focus on the
following evidence gathering methods below:

Given the necessary materials, tools and equipment, the candidate must be able
to Assemble Electronic Products / Multi Voltage Regulated Power Supply Circuits
in 4 Hours.
Materials and Equipments
Multi-Tester, Electronics Component, Soldering Iron, De-soldering Pump, Long
Nose Pliers, Side Cutter, Soldering Lead, 2x3 universal PCB, Pen knife

1. The first step in assembling circuit is to prepare the materials, equipments and
supplies.
2. To determine if the power supply has no voltage, you have to use a multi-tester
to measure the voltage of the circuit.
3. Check/ troubleshoot the power supply circuit if it is in good condition.
4. The importance of ground strap is to prevent components from damages.
5. OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) is important in preventing accidents.
6. If short circuit occurs, unplug the unit from power source.
7. If open circuit occurs, you have to check the power source and check circuit
from open connections.
8. If any explosions occur, unplug the unit from the power source.
9. Do not use the unit, open the unit to clean and dry it thoroughly.
10.Wearing PPE is important in reducing the chances of accidents that may occur
to happen.
