 MATERIALS:

1. Stuffing materials (I use hollow fiber);

2. Scissors;
3. Crochet hook (I use 2mm size, size B to USA classification. If you crochet with other
types of yarn, choose the size of crochet hook suitable for yarn's thickness);
4. Plastic eyes on the secure mount (10mm/0,39inches size) - 2 pieces;
5. Needles for sewing (blunt end, metal or plastic) and for pinning details;
6. Yarn for embroidery nostrils, eyebrows and mouth. I use Yarn Art Iris (100% cotton;
151yards/138m; 0,7oz/20g) color 935 black. You can use other yarn of suitable
thickness or yarn for embroidery);
7. Yarns (Yarn Weight: A (24-26 stitches), 5 ply, Sport, Fine, 12 wpi). I use:
Alize Cotton Gold Tweed (57% cotton + 40% acrylic + 3% polyester; 361yards/330m;
3,53oz/100g) color 616 purple (main yarn, for head, ears, body and wings). I use 35-50g
(1,2-1,76oz);
Yarn Art Jeans (55% cotton + 45% acrylic; 175yards/160m; 1,76oz/50g) color 36 pink
(for nose) and 74 light pink (for ears);
Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton + 45% acrylic; 361yards/330m; 3,53oz/100g) color 55
white (for eyes);
Alize Softy (100% micropolyester; 126yards/115m; 1,76oz/50g) color 185 light pink (for
breast).
You can fantasize and choose other yarn's colors.
You can also use other types of yarn (similar in thickness and materials to the ones I
used, or other types). If you use other materials, the size and appearance of the
finished toy may differ from the photos in this pattern.

Gazzal Baby Cotton (60% cotton +
40% acrylic; 175yards/165m;
1,76oz/50g);
YarnArt Baby Cotton (60% cotton +
40% acrylic; 142,1yards/130m;

Kartopu Amigurumi Yarn (49%
cotton + 51% acrylic; 175yards/165m;
1,76oz/50g);
DROPS Safran Cotton Yarn (100%
Cotton; 175yards/160m; 1,8oz/50g);
Knit Picks Comfy Sport (75% cotton +
25% acrylic; 136yards/124m;
1,76oz/50g).

(USA terminology):

RA – amigurumi ring / magic ring

ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2sc in 1 stitch)
dec – decrease (make sc from 2 stitches)
dc – double crochet

P – picot (make chain 3 and then crochet
sl in the first stitch of the chain)

 EYES
Crochet with white yarn in the continuous spiral.
IMPORTANT: the toy has symmetrical left and right parts (eyes,
ears and wings). The left and right side of the toy, not left and
right from our side (by generally accepted standards). For
convenience and better understanding, photos are signed.

White eyes should be located on the 8-17th

Embroider the eyebrows with a thin black

yarn on the head on the 6-9th rounds above
the eyes (photos 21-24). The length of the
eyebrows is 3,5sc diagonally.

Hide all yarn's tails inside the head.

 NOSE
Crochet with pink yarn in the continuous spiral, don’t stuff.

1. make chain 5 (5) (photo 25)

2. from the 2nd stitch from the hook: inc, 2sc, 25 26
3sc in the 1 stitch (photo 26), on the other side
of the chain: 2sc, inc (11) (photo 27)

Cut off the yarn and leave tail 20cm/7,9inches

for sewing.

Sew nose to the center of the head on the
17-18 rounds between the eyes (photos 29-30).

Embroider the nostrils on the nose with thin

black yarn. The distance between the nostrils
is 2sc (photo 31).

Embroider the mouth with thin black yarn

from the middle of the nose down 3 rounds
(photo 32).
Hide all yarn's tails inside the head (photo 33).

 EARS
Crochet 4 details: 2 with light pink yarn, 2 with purple yarn.
Crochet in turning rows.
First, crochet 2 pink details, then 1 purple,
assemble one ear, and only then crochet the 34 35
second purple detail and assemble the second
ear.

 Sew the outer edges of the ears with pink tail (photos 42-44).
Hide all yarn’s tails in the ears (except the purple tail, which was left after crocheting).
Sew ears on the sides of the head on the 4-14 rounds with purple tail (photos 45-46).
Distance from ears to eyes is 5sc.

 Sew wings to the sides of the body on the 6-31 rounds.
Distance to the breast is 9-10sc (photos 57-63).
Make sure that the wings completely wrap around the bat and lie
comfortably without kinks (photos 57-59).
