sơn đã và đang triển khai các hoạt động truyền thông về hậu quả, hệ lụy của
việc mất cân bằng giới tính khi sinh đến với người dân bằng nhiều hình thức đa
dạng phong phú. Từ đó góp phần nâng cao chất lượng dân số trên địa bàn.

been implementing communication activities. It is a communication activity

people in various forms. Thereby, it contributes to improving the quality of the
population in the area.

Hòa Bình là một xã vùng ba của huyện Văn Quan, hiện xã có hơn 280 hộ dân
với hơn 2230 nhân khẩu. Để làm tốt công tác dân số kế hoạch hóa gia đình, đặc
biệt giảm tình trạng mất cân bằng giới tính khi sinh thời gian qua cán bộ chuyên
trách dân số xã đã tích cực kết hợp với các tổ chức đoàn thể và phòng dân số
huyện đẩy mạnh công tác tuyên truyền đến với người dân.
Hoa Binh is a commune in the third region of Van Quan district. Currently, the
commune has more than 280 households with more than 2230 people. In order
to do well the population and family planning work, especially in order to
reduce sex imbalances at birth, over the past time, the commune's population
officer has actively cooperated with mass organizations and District Population
Division promotes propaganda to the people.

Đến nay, tỷ lệ các cặp vợ chồng trong độ tuổi sinh đẻ sử dụng các biện pháp
tránh thai đạtđạt trên 90% tỷ lệ sinh con thứ 3 đã giảm hơn so với những năm
trước. Từ đầu năm 2022 đến nay trên địa bàn không có trường hợp nào sinh con
thứ 3 trở lên.
Up to now, the percentage of couples of childbearing age using contraceptive
methods reaching over 90%, the rate of having a third child has decreased

Là một người dân ở Còn Hẩu, xã Hòa Bình, thời gian qua, tôi cũng được tham
gia các buổi tuyên truyền về chính sách dân số, kế hoạch hóa gia đình, đồng
thời được cán bộ chuyên trách tuyên truyền về các biện pháp tránh thai an
toàn, không sinh con thứ 3, tình trạng mất cân bằng giới tính khi sinh. Qua đó,
tôi đã hiểu và chấp hành tốt, tôi sẽ tuyên truyền cho người thân và hàng xóm
cùng thực hiện, không sinh con thứ 3 để nuôi dạy con tốt.
As a resident of Con Hau village, Hoa Binh Commune, recently, I also had
chance to join in some propaganda sessions on population policy, and family
planning, and received propaganda at the same time from specialized staff on
safe contraceptive methods, not giving birth to a third child, the state of sex

Trong thời gian qua, để đẩy mạnh công tác tuyên truyền về mất cân bằng giới
tính khi sinh, thì tôi cũng tham mưu với ban chỉ đạo xã, và phối hợp với các
ban, ngành, đoàn thể tuyên truyền đến từng người dân trong độ tuổi sinh đẻ.
Over the past time, to promote propagation among people on the state of sex

Bên cạnh đó, để nâng cao chất lượng dân số, những năm qua, trung tâm y tế
huyện Văn Quan đã triển khai nhiều giải pháp nhằm từng bước giảm thiểu tốc
độ gia tăng tỷ số giới tính khi sinh và tỉ lệ sinh con thứ 3 trở lên.
Besides, to raise the population quality, in the past years, Van Quan district
medical center has carried out several solutions to reduce gradually the growth
rate of sex ratio at birth and the rate of giving birth to a third child or more.

Đặc biệt từ năm 2017, đề án kiểm soát mất cân bằng giới tính khi sinh được
triển khai thí điểm tại 6 xã thuộc vùng 1 và vùng 2 của huyện. Đến nay đã nhân
rộng lên 17 xã thị trấn trên địa bàn.
Especially since 2017, the project to control sex imbalance at birth has been
piloted in 6 communes in first and second region of the district. Up to now, it
has been replicated to 17 communes and towns in the area.

Qua đó đã góp phần nâng cao nhận thức, ý thức cho người dân, nhất là đối với
các cặp vợ chồng trong độ tuổi sinh đẻ, mới kết hôn, sinh con một bề, từng
bước nâng cao tình trạng mất cân bằng giới tính khi sinh trên địa bàn huyện ở
mức thấp nhất.
Thereby, it has contributed to raising the sense and awareness of the citizen,
especially for couples of childbearing age, newly married, and having children
of the same gender, gradually reducing the sex imbalance at birth rate in the
district to the lowest.

Chỉ tính riêng trong 6 tháng đầu năm, tỷ lệ giới tính khi sinh của huyện đạt 104
trẻ trai trên 100 trẻ gái. Tỷ lệ sinh con thứ 3 giảm xuống 11,1%, giảm 11 trẻ so
với năm 2020.
Just in the first 6 months, the sex ratio at birth of the district reached 104 boys
per 100 girls. The third child birth rate decreased to 11.1%, less than 11
children compared with 2020.

Nhằm giảm thiểu tình trạng mất cân bằng giới tính khi sinh, thì phòng dân số đã
chủ động tham mưu cho lãnh đạo Trung tâm y tế xây dựng kế hoạch truyền
thông đến cơ sở các xã, thị trấn.

thể đẩy mạnh tuyên truyền, phổ biến, giáo dục chính sách pháp luật về công tác
dân số, nội dung của pháp lệnh dân số về việc cấm lựa chọn giới tính thai nhi
dưới mọi hình thức.
With the results achieved in the coming time, Van Quan district will be able to
continue directing the staff, population collaborators to coordinate with
branches and mass organizations to promote propaganda, disseminate and
educate about legal policies on population work, the content of the population
ordinance on the prohibition of fetal sex selection in any form.

Đồng thời tuyên truyền giáo dục bình đẳng giới, thực trạng và hệ lụy của mất
cân bằng giới tính khi sinh đến đến người dân, nhằm hạn chế thấp nhất tỷ lệ
chênh lệch giới tính. Qua đó từng bước nâng cao chất lượng dân số trên địa bàn
huyện.
At the same time, Van Quan district also propagates gender equality education,
the reality and consequences of the sex imbalance at birth to the citizen in order
to minimize the gender gap rate, thereby gradually improving the quality of the
population in the district area.
