Introduction to Pinterest:

- Pinterest is a social media platform that is used to


share and save information/ ideas.

- Website and found on the App Store/ GooglePlay store.


Activity #1:
Creating your own Pinterest account for teaching
resources!

Now, you’re going to want to create an account

You are going to need a reliable email address and create a password.
Search for something that interests you!
Activity #2:

Creating and organizing Pinterest boards!


Use keywords or phrases related to teaching and/or learning to
begin your search …
Saving Pins:

Once you have found a


pin you would like to
save, simply hover over
the image and a “save”
button will pop up,
click on it.
Creating Boards:

Your pins will


automatically save to
your Pinterest account,
so you will want to click
on your profile picture
icon to access you pins

Next, you will want to


organize your pins into
boards. Begin to think of
the different ways you
will organize your boards.
