    1. Lower the boom to the ground. Remove pins (1) that hold sheave blocks (2) and (4) to the

    boom. Hang the sheave blocks (2) and (4) on the pipelayer frame.

    2. Remove pins (5) and boom (3). Weight of the boom is 2000 lb. (907 kg).
