I. Introduction

 Ask the students to recall a situation where they had difficulty communicating

with someone.

 Discuss with the students the importance of using appropriate tools in oral

communication situations.

II. Body

A. Applying Appropriate Language

 Define appropriate language and give examples of different types of language

appropriate for different situations.

 Provide students with a scenario and ask them to identify the appropriate

language to use.

 Discuss the students' answers and provide feedback.

B. Using Nonverbal Cues

 Explain the importance of using nonverbal cues in oral communication.

 Provide examples of nonverbal cues such as facial expressions, gestures,

and posture.

 Ask students to practice using nonverbal cues in pairs.

 Discuss with the class the different types of nonverbal cues and their impact

on communication.

C. Tone and Pitch

 Discuss the importance of tone and pitch in oral communication.

 Provide examples of how tone and pitch can convey different emotions and

intentions.
 Ask students to practice using tone and pitch in pairs.

 Discuss with the class the different types of tone and pitch and their impact on

communication.

D. Active Listening

 Define active listening and its importance in oral communication.

 Provide examples of active listening techniques such as paraphrasing and

asking questions.

 Ask students to practice active listening in pairs.

 Conduct a short quiz about the discussion.

 Checking of the quiz to know the result.

 Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

on the tv screen.
