TOPIC Grammar: Used to be – Reading comprehension

GRADE 11° ABC


To practice reading comprehension in high level to improve English language.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES To practice the pronunciation and write the meanings of each Word.
To integrate and develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills to express ideas, opinions and describe personal
affair.
To reinforce and recognize the meaning of targeted grammatical structures in written and spoken form.
LENGTH OF THE ACTIVITY 35 minutes for synchronous activities and 8 days for asynchronous activities.

Synchronous activities:
SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES  Students will present an oral activity: about reading comprehension.
 Anwer questions about the reading in their notebooks.
 Practice tbe pronunciation of the reading.
 Telling sentences using the correct form of used to be for oral participation by WhatsApp’s class.
Asynchronous activities:⁸
 Answer questions related with the reading.
 Complete a chart and answering some practices.
 Make conceptual map using the vocabulary related with the reading.
 Write sentences under the pictures using the correct form of used to be.

 Solve the activities to recall prior knowledge.


EVIDENCE-BASED CRITERIA  Recognizes a new vocabulary words related with the reading.
 Presenting a good speech, making a summary of the reading
