ANNEXURE-1

Observations on the revised structural drawings (Ref. no. 8):

Food Court Block


l. In drawing no. 2021-101-S-TC-FCB-03.B, PB35 should be replace with PB34 (Not rectified).
2. Soil investigation report is provided and the recommended safe bearing capacity is 110 kN/sq.m.
In all the combined footing it is suggested to provide a strap beam connecting all the associated
columns (Rectified).
3. The size of column (600x400) is not conformed to IS 13920-2016 (Rectified).
4. l 0 mm dia. bar is recommended instead of 8 mm dia. bar in all slab panel and RCC steps
(Rectified) .

Below are the recommendations:


1. Upon subsequent revision of the DPR, the consultant has addressed/revised the
observation/issues mentioned (Ref no. 8). Hence, the DPR is acceptable. However, below are
the components needed to rectified before and during the execution of the work.
(a)The detail of grade beams (TBS and TB9) is provided in drawing no. 2021-101-S-TC-
FCB-S-03, however, not found in the foundation detail of drawing no. 2021-101-S-TC-
FCB-S-0 1.1.
(b) The drawings for basement level framing plan and corresponding beam and slab details
are not provided in the revised DPR.
(c) As per the cross section of foundation section mentioned in drawing no. 2021-101-S-TC-
FCB-S-01.2, it is suggested that if the foundation based is found to be more than 3.0 m
depth from the existing ground level, it is recommended to provided an additional tie
beam at mid height.
(d) Due to level different of the site (as-shown in drawing no. 2021-1 0l-S-TC-FCB-S-01.2),
a proper retaining wall to be provided.
2. For all non-schedule items/market rate items considered, quotations should be submitted to the
concerned Department before finalizing the BOQ.
3. All documents in the DPR should be sign by the consultant (Archom Pvt. Ltd.).

Further, the vetting of the DPR may subject to the following conditions:

1. The DPR has been checked based on the documents submitted. Also, the actual estimates of
quantity and rates may depend on the actual work executed /measurement at site. The vetting
agency of the DPR will not be responsible for inferior/non-standard quality/quantities deviation.
Hence, a proper site supervision should be made by the concerned agency to check the quality and
actual work executed at site.
2. The DPR is approved neither paying a site visit nor any future provisions made to visit the same.
However, all relevant documents of the various components are provided by the client and based
on those documents the DPR is approved. And the proof checking works do not cover the checks
required on site for workmanship, methodology and quality of materials used.

3. The DPR checked does not include design and drawing for the scaffolding/temporary
supports/false work required for carrying out construction related activities. If required, the
detailed designs and drawings for those temporary works may be checked separately.
4. The vetting agency cannot be held responsible for failure (Part/Total) due to poor workmanship,
use of inferior material qualities (other than those items mentioned in the DPR), manmade or
natural calamities including earthquake of very high intensity, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes,
tsunami, etc.
5. In regards of the quality of the materials procured by the implementing agency, the vetting party
(NITM) will not be responsible for inferior/non-standard quality.
6. Any Arbitration/Litigation in the DPR will be subject to NIT Meghalaya Jurisdiction only.
