START Starts production.

STOP Starts to unload panels (enabled only during production)

GROUP
POWER Changes the module to a wake or sleep state.
START
READY ON
Confirms menu selections, number value entries and also starts
OK the operation of commands.
CYCLE STOP STOP
Cancel menu selections, number value entries and also returns
CANCEL the operation panel to the previously displayed screen. Furthermore,
this button can be used to stop the sound of the buzzer when errors occur.
MANUAL By pushing this button at the same time as START or when changing jobs,
POWER GROUP the operation is performed for all modules on the machine as a group.

EMERGENCY Push this button after the errors have been cleared.
OK READY ON If this button is pushed at the error removal guidance screen, the error
status will be cleared.
CANCEL Sends a command to interrupt the operation of the motor axis of the
CYCLE STOP module. Stop the module in between pick and place cycles during
pruduction.
MONITOR STAND BY Arrow keys
MANUAL Switches between the manual mode and operation guidance screen.

MONITOR Displays the image monitor.

EMERGENCY Cuts the 200V power to the module and stops operation.

Production - 2. Interrupting Production There are three methods to stop the NXT during production.

1 Finishing the current panel

Step 4. Adjusting the first pickup position

Change the pitch setting on the feeder to match the carrier tape pitch. Push the advance button until the first part is near the front of the feeder.

Supply trays to the slots designated by the red mark. When setting trays in a slot is completed,
the red mark changes to blue.

Production - 7. Clearing Errors Use the information in the error screen to help clear the error cause.

This code represents the cause of the error. More detailed information about the error can be
obtained by using Accessory Software to search for this error code.

Push READY ON. Information


Information such as the status of the I/O at the place where the error occurred and the name
of the unit at which the error occurred is displayed.

Procedures for clearing the error


Follow the procedures displayed to clear the error. In the example shown above, the following
procedures are displayed.
1. Push OK and pull forward the module.
2. Contact maintenance personnel to resolve the problem.
3. Connect the air hose.
