Prepare a Detail Report on Waste Management

1.0 Brief Introduction

The instrumental in providing transportation convenience, has a substantial negative impact on the
environment. Pollution from this industry primarily arises from the combustion of fossil fuels in
vehicles, emitting harmful substances like carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon
monoxide (CO), particulate matter (PM), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These emissions
contribute to air pollution, climate change, and adverse health effects. Efforts are underway to
address this issue through cleaner technologies like electric vehicles, aimed at reducing the
environmental impact of the automobile industry.Effluent Treatment Plants or (ETP) are used by
most of the companies in various industries to clean water and remove any toxic and non-toxic
materials or chemicals from it so that that water can be reused or released in the environment
which will do less harm to the environment.

2.0 Aim of the Micro-Project

This Micro-Project aims at:
 Aim: To improve waste management practices at the effluent treatment plant (ETP).
 Benefits: Enhance environmental compliance, reduce operational costs, and promote
sustainable and eco-friendly waste management at the ETP.

3.0 Course Outcomes integrated (COs):

CO 1: Develop awareness regrading environment.
CO 3: Conserve ecosystem and biodiversity.
CO 4: Apply techniques to reduce Environmental Pollution.
CO 5: Manage social issues and Environmental Ethics as lifelong learning

4.0 Actual Procedure Followed

1. First, we had discussed on which topic to choose with team members.

2. Then we have finalized the topic by discussing with the project guide and started
gathering information.
3. After that we have prepared the Proposal.
4. We studied and gone through the information related to Pollution cause by Automobile
Industry and its causes.
5. Then we have collected the information about Pollution Cause By Automobile Industry.
6. Then we have prepared the Micro-Project and did the required changes.
7. Prepared the final Report.
