Grammaire Voix Passive
1. Règle générale
La voix passive est utilisé pour mettre de la formalité (pour mettre de la distance). Ex: pour le
TFE.
Présent simple
Ex: I clean the kitchen every day —> the kitchen is cleaned every day
Passé simple
Ex: I cleaned the kitchen every day —> The kitchen was cleaned every day
Will
Présent perfect
Ex : I have cleaned the kitchen —> The kitchen has been cleaned
Présent continu
Passé continu
Ex : I was cleaning the kitchen —> the kitchen was being cleaned
INF
INF parfait
Liste des verbes : give, ask, offer, pay, show, teach, tell

Someone/something is PP to + INF
Ça marche avec ces verbes : thought, said, alleged, believed, considered, expected, known,
reported, understood.
Ex : it is said that she is a mean girl -> she is said to be a mean girl
It is believed that the earth is flat -> the earth is believed to be flat
ATTENTION : to be supposed to
= to be said to
= ce qui était censé se passer mais c’est différent de la réalité (you were supposed to be
here early)
= ce qui n’est pas permis, pas conseillé (you’re not supposed to smoke here)
