The teacher will begin the lesson by asking the students about the benefits of physical activity and the different types of physical activities they engage in. This will serve as a
a. Reviewing previous lesson or
review of the previous lesson and introduce the topic for today's lesson, which is about engaging in moderate to vigorous physical activities for at least 60 minutes most days of
presenting the new lesson
the week.

b. Establishing the purpose of The teacher will explain that the purpose of the lesson is for the students to understand the importance of engaging in moderate to vigorous physical activities for their health and
the lesson well-being, and to learn about different ways they can incorporate physical activity into their daily lives.

c. Presenting The teacher will present examples of different types of physical activities that can be done both in and out of school, such as sports, dance, brisk walking, cycling, and swimming.
examples/instances of the The teacher will also discuss the benefits of each type of activity, such as improved cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and flexibility.
new lesson
here are some examples of different types of physical activities that can be done both in and out of school, along with their benefits:

✔ Sports: Participating in team sports such as soccer, basketball, or volleyball can improve cardiovascular health, build endurance, and enhance coordination and agility.
Sports also promote teamwork, social interaction, and self-esteem.
✔ Dance: Dancing is a fun way to improve cardiovascular health, balance, and coordination, while also boosting mood and reducing stress. Dancing can include different
styles such as hip hop, ballet, salsa, and contemporary.
✔ Brisk walking: Walking is a low-impact activity that can be done anywhere and requires no equipment. Brisk walking can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen leg
muscles, and promote weight loss.
✔ Cycling: Cycling is another low-impact activity that can be done outdoors or indoors on a stationary bike. Cycling can improve cardiovascular health, build leg muscles,
and increase endurance.
✔ Swimming: Swimming is a full-body workout that can improve cardiovascular health, build muscle strength, and enhance flexibility. It is also a low-impact activity that
is easy on the joints, making it a good option for people with joint pain or injuries.
The teacher will introduce the concept of moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and explain that this type of activity is important for improving overall fitness and
health. The teacher will also explain how to determine the intensity level of physical activity using the "talk test" method. Then, the students will practice the talk test by engaging

practicing new skills #1
*The talk test method is a simple and effective way to measure the intensity of physical activity during exercise, commonly used in physical education and fitness settings. The talk
test method involves assessing whether a person can speak comfortably while exercising.

e. Discussing new concepts and The students will work in pairs or small groups to brainstorm different ways they can incorporate physical activity into their daily lives, such as walking or biking to school,
practicing new skills #2 playing sports with friends, or taking breaks to stretch and move during study sessions.

The teacher will lead the class in a fun and interactive physical activity, such as a dance party or an obstacle course, that allows the students to engage in MVPA for 60 minutes.
a. Developing Mastery
During this activity, the teacher will encourage the students to use the talk test to monitor their intensity level and challenge themselves to increase their level of activity.
b. Finding practical applications
The teacher will facilitate a discussion on how the students can apply the concepts and skills they learned in class to their daily lives. The students will share their ideas for
