My grandma told me

"Don't confuse having a career with having a life" This quote has been the motto I have
been following my entire life. I never believed in limits, so why be bounded by them. As
far as I can tell, the sky is my limit. I guess that is why they say, "Sky is the limit." In
sports, academics, and life in general, anything is possible, which is why I give everything
I do 110 percent; that is the philosophy I grew up embracing.

My grandmother once told me that we should never waste our precious time without
purpose or meaning at any stage of our lives. As the saying goes, "Time and tide wait for
none.” Knowing all that has taught me to become two faces of one coin. As a student-
athlete, it was my responsibility to strike a balance between my studies and my
basketball career; of course, I had to adapt and learn the value of time management,
which did not come easy. Year by year, the studying portions became much more
complex and required more studying. The only way to balance the spectrum was to
learn how to manage my time and understand the actual value of time. Comprehending
the essence of time management skills has helped me become overall a more
productive individual.

An invitation to the national team is the most coveted of all achievements. I am much
honored to represent my county in the forthcoming under 17 world cup, which will take
place in Spain. I am over the moon and thrilled to participate in one of the most
competitive tournaments in the world in my age group, realizing that all the blood,
sweat, and tears I put into this game were worth it and that hard work never goes to
waste. The greatest blessing is portraying a joyful smile on my parents' faces and making
them proud of who I have become. That thought itself is what keeps me thriving and
giving it my all. Aside from my basketball accolades and dreams, I take pride in my
studies; this spring, I took my SAT and SAT subject tests in biology and mathematics
level one, scoring 1320 and 1430 while maintaining a 3.89 GPA and a 96.7 student
average.
I was intrigued by computers and software from a young age, and since then, I have
always dreamed of becoming a software engineer. I gradually began taking courses to
learn programming languages such as Python to better understand how computers
work. As I became more interested in electronics, I decided to major in computer
science at your university. I see myself as a software developer or app developer. With
your courses, I can make this vision a reality. I chose to study in Canada due to its
multicultural environment. Canadians are welcoming and respectful towards people
from different cultures. The country offers the chance to interact with locals from
various cultures and learn from them. In addition, safety and security are among the
best in the world, with low crime rates. After graduating and earning my degree I plan to
travel back to Dubai, since a computer science degree is under demand. Job
opportunities will be widely available. Graduating from Canada is very thought after
since the county is known for its good education. Getting my degree from here will
make me stand out from the rest. Due to me being a family oriented guy my parents are
an another reason why I would love to travel back.

Each of us leaves a legacy as we fulfill our life's purpose. As a student, I believe my

purpose is to encourage others to become active community members and inspire them
to reach new heights. As a student at this university, I will use my teamwork knowledge
to help strengthen student relationships on campus and in the community. Since I am
an international student, I have observed how understanding and supporting others'
diverse abilities, interests, and perspectives can foster a stronger sense of identity,
improve their well-being, and improve their academic and career outcomes. Welcoming
me to your campus, I genuinely think that I can elevate the diversity level regarding
culture.

I will be highly delighted and privileged to be admitted to your university and represent
your colors.
