ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL PURPOSES
1. Look for 10 unfamiliar words/specialized words that you encounter in your
specialized subjects.
2. Search about its pronunciation, meaning and sentence usage. Also, you may
include synonyms, antonyms, word origin and other information about your
chosen word.
3. Create an infographic of your chosen words. You may use any of the following
platforms in making your info-graphs
-Microsoft Word
-Microsoft Publisher
-Piktochart
-Canva
4. Reminder: 1 info-graph per word
5. Collate the pictures of your info-graph and submit the hardcopy of your task. You
may opt to have multiple pictures in one sheet of short bond paper. You may also
present it in an album-like format.
6. An example will be presented next meeting for your reference.
