JUAN: How was your vacation Diane?

DIANA: It was so much fun and relaxing! Rosa didn't want to come back home.

ROSA: That's true, I wanted to stay on that boat...

CAROLINA: That's right, you took a cruise to Mexico, right?

ROSA: Yes, we visited Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco.

JUAN: Wow, that sounds like fun. How long was the trip?

DIANA: It was one week.

JUAN: How was the weather?

ROSA: It was mild and sunny. It didn't rain once.

JUAN: You were lucky, because last cruise Brian and I took, it rained half of the time.

CAROLINA: That's right, I remember that the crew had to scramble to entertain the
passengers. They had to cancel all the outdoor activities.

JUAN: They showed movies and had trivia games.

DIANA: Oh, I love trivia games! We had a lot of trivia games on our cruise and Rosa
and I won twice.

ROSA: That's right... we won free drinks.

CAROLINA: Rosa, tell me more about the places you visited...

ROSA: Well, we visited this place called Deer Island in Mazatlan. We rented a
catamaran that took us there and spent the afternoon at the beach.

DIANA: And in Puerto Vallarta, we were able to rent a water taxi that took us to a
beach. I can't remember the name, but it was beautiful. We spent the day at a resort and
enjoyed the pool and the beach.

JUAN: What about Acapulco? I thought you mentioned that place too.
ROSA: Actually, we decided not to get off the ship there.

CAROLINA: Really, why? What happened?

DIANA: The ship's spa had a great deal for the people that stayed on board and since
Rosa and I had been there already, we decided to stay onboard.

JUAN: Did you get a massage?

DIANA: Yes, we both got massages and I got a pedicure and a manicure too.

JUAN: What about you Rosa?

ROSA: Only the massage... ha, ha, ha...

CAROLINA: I was about to ask about your nails Rosa.

DIANA: Anyway, we had a wonderful trip.

JUAN: It sounds like you two had a great time!

ROSA: We sure did and can't wait for the next vacation.

CAROLINA: Where are you going next?

DIANA: We're headed to the Florida Keys.

JUAN: Sounds like fun! Wish we could join you...

ROSA: Yeah, but we're retired and you two still have to work.

CAROLINA: Thanks a lot for reminding me!
