CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Public Display of Affection (PDA) is the act of physical intimacy within the view
of other people. It is an act usually done by those who are involved in romantic
relationships but can occur in platonic ones too, and are preferred to be done in private.
These forms of physical touch can include hand holding, hugging, kissing, etc. Though it
is a way to showcase love and adoration, it is not a sight that everyone would like to see.
While it is not something we can remotely villainize, the comfort of others in the
schools, the students meet new people their age and start new relationships with them
(either platonic or romantic) despite it being the grounds for learning, but there are still
boundaries within it. There is a fine line between causing a disturbance and/or distraction
to passersby through engaging in PDA and showing affection for a loved one without any
