ACTION PLAN ON SCHOOL-BASED BOY SCOUT OF THE PHILIPPINES (BSP)

S.Y 2023-2024

I-RATIONALE: The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) is the national scouting organization of the Philippines in the World Organization of the Scout
Movement. Through recreation, Scouting achieves its purpose of helping young people develop physically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
Scouting is all about building confidence and self-esteem, learning important life skills and leadership skills, team building, outdoor adventure,
education, and fun! Scouts learn how to make good choices and to take responsibility for their actions so that they are prepared for their adult life
as independent persons.
Pursuant to Commonwealth act 111 as amended by the RA 7278, the BSP will celebrate its 87 th Charter Anniversary and National Scouting
Month in October to showcase to the public and its stakeholders the contribution of BSP to nation-building through the development of the young
people by actively engaging and supporting them to become agents of change in their respective communities with this year’s theme “Sustaining
Growth”
II- OBJECTIVE:
 Promote BSP as foremost in developing the young people to become responsible citizens and leaders in their respective homes and
communities.
 Celebrate with thanksgiving, sense of pride and belongingness, as members of scouting movement
 Foster camaraderie among members of the scouting community in the country.

III.TIME TABLE OF BOY SCOUTS ACTIVITIES
