ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON 1. Teacher draws a simple outline of a house on the board.
Teacher elicits/teaches house.
2. Teacher elicits any rooms that students already know and
writes them next to the house.
3. Teacher reviews old, new, big, small, ugly, and beautiful by
asking about the house on the board.
LESSON DELIVERY Activity 1(SB page 70)
1. Students look at the picture in their SB.
2. Teacher elicits who they can see( the Super Friends) and
where they area(Round a picture of a house)
3. Teacher plays the recording. Students point to the places
in the house when they hear them.
4. Teacher plays the recording again. Students repeat the
words.
5. Students practise pointing and naming in pairs.
Activity 2(SB page 70)
1. Students look at the chant.
2. Teacher plays the recording. Students listen and follow the
chant in their SB.
3. Teacher checks understanding of new vocabulary.

One possibility is to base the lesson on pupils’ report on the survey
results from p.67. From these, they could co-operate as a class or in
large groups to create a big poster for the classroom or a class
chant/rap about their healthy and/or unhealthy habits.
Pupils should try to use English to communicate in a group,
although this may not always be possible. Encourage them to ask
for help in English by pre-teaching phrases such as:
‘We don’t understand/know what to do/write here.’
‘How do you spell…?’ .
