PAST TENSE

An Engineer Diary
When I entered the engineering collage I was
very happy.
I spent my time having fun with my
friends.
Sitting in the cafeteria for hours ,eating and
drinking tea , coffee , chatting with my
friends and I rarely attended the lectures .
When the exams come I depended on my friends to
teach me ,but most of the time they refused or
gave me little details about the subject because
they wanted to study.
So I cheated in the exams and was dismissed
many times, but I kept my collage life.
I finally graduated and became an Engineer .
I was very proud of myself.
I had a job in an engineering office.
At work I know nothing or very little about my
job. I was embarrassed in many situations
because I couldn't answer a simple question
regarding my field.
I felt sorry for myself and I blamed
myself for what I did in collage.
I could have fun and studied at the same
time like my friends.
My advise for you is not to lose this
opportunity and build your knowledge in
your field,
And have fun at the same time.
Believe me you will not be sorry.
Life has taught me, gaining knowledge
will give you Respect whenever and
wherever you go.
