1. You were a student of ”University A”. Due to Covid-19, the university changed the way of
teaching and learning to online learning because. Write a narrative essay about your learning
experience during Covid19 pandemic. Explain about what you did and how you learnt. Tell
about your feeling during the learning process in pandemic. Give the appropriate title for your
writing. Your narrative essay must consist of 200- 300 words.
Your narrative essay has to explain about:
• Place and time during the learning process in Covid-19 pandemic;
• The media you used;
• Your feeling;
• Learning process;
• How the end of your learning experience was.

Answer :

Adaptation to Online Learning

In January 2020, the Indonesian government gave instructions to temporarily close all
campuses in Indonesia due to the highly contagious Covid outbreak, so the chancellor took a
policy to continue learning online.
Feelings of worry and confusion were all mixed up because of course we had to start
adapting to the new learning process, having to separate from our classmates and study at
home.
However, like it or not, we have to keep trying to keep our lectures going, after receiving
instructions we finally went home to our respective areas, and started our lectures using our
respective computers with the zoom application, which was initially problematic because it
 only accommodated a few people so we had to upgraded again, sometimes the network is not
possible so sometimes we miss material, from that problem we also learned to find a solution,
namely by recording lectures so that those who missed the material can repeat it again.
Sometimes we are also concerned about our lecturers who are old and don't understand
technology so that throughout the lecture they have to be helped to operate the computer with
their grandchildren, but this is all a risk for the sake of the lecture.
Even though there will always be pluses and minuses to online learning, everything turns
out to be an alternative, group work also turns out to be more economical because we don't
have to gather in the same place, we also learn a lot about technology.
However, thankfully, in mid-2021 the pandemic has officially ended and all students can
return to study at their respective campuses and meet with their friends and lecturers, and of
course lectures will return to normal and of course it will be much more effective if they
communicate directly with lecturers.

2. Write an imaginative essay about your dream with the topic ”If I were a health minister”. Tell
about the dream, your program, the activities and your hope as well.
Use conditional sentences to complete your imaginative essay that consists of 250-300 words.
Answer :

My dream is to become Minister of Health

Hopefully one day I can achieve my dream of becoming minister of health to fight health
problems in Indonesia.

I promise that I will carry out my duties as best as possible, I will start carrying out all my
duties by looking directly at the condition of our society, I will make visits to each province to
directly check what health conditions are like, the number of existing health facilities, whether the
number of health workers is balanced with the number of people. , whether the access is easy to
reach or not.

Apart from finding out about facilities and access, I also have to collect health data, how
many people die unhelpfully, what are the obstacles, how high are the infectious diseases, what
are the most common diseases? To overcome the problem, for example because there are high
cases of diarrhea due to the lack of toilets, it is necessary to a program to build latrines, or for
example how many pregnant women do not have regular health checks, the number of stunted
children, all need to be recorded, especially as children are the ones who will be the future
successors of the nation so they must grow strong and healthy.

For now, the simple program that I have to create is equal distribution of Indonesian
doctors, because basically we have a lot of competent doctor graduates but they only focus on
urban areas.

In addition, I will create programs according to the results of data collection and the
problems of each region, so that the regulations issued can be relevant according to the needs of
each region, and will be evaluated periodically every 6 months.
