Embedding a Relative Clause

Relative clauses can also be ‘dropped in’ (or embedded) in the middle of a sentence. For example:

Jenny likes playing tennis.

Jenny, who is very sporty, likes playing tennis.

In the example above, the relative clause has been placed in the middle of the sentence. It gives
more information about the noun that comes before it. Choose a relative clause to add to each
of the sentences below.
