The will show the picture of internal parts of


the body, then the teacher will ask the pupils
a question that related to the topic

Internal body parts


The body parts that we cannot see from outside
are called internal body parts.

Hearts - is a reddish brown organ located inside


our chest,Our heart is the size of a fist.

Heart is divided into four chambers.


* Right Atrium
* Left Atrium
* Right Ventricle
* Left Ventricle

Function of heart
Its main function is to pump blood to all the other
parts of our body through blood vessels of the
circulatory system.

Lungs - There are two lungs which are sponge


like structures that fill most of the chest,the lungs
are the primary organs of the respiratory system.

Function of lungs
The main function of lungs is to provide oxygen
from inhaled air to the bloodstream and to exhale
carbon dioxide.

Brain - The brain lies inside our head and is


protected by our skull,it is a part of our nervous
system.

Function of brain
Our brain controls all the functions of our
body,the brain connects to the nerves that travel
throughout our body,our brain stores information
in the form of memories.

Kidney - There are two kidneys which are


located on either side of our spine below our ribs
and behind our belly,the kidney are bean shaped
organs and are part excretory system

Function of kidneys
Their function is to filter blood and remove waste
from our body,the waste gets collected in the
urinary bladder and is removed as urine.

Liver - is a part of digestive system and is


located next to our stomach on the right
side.Liver is the largest gland in human
body.The skin is the only organ heavier and

larger than the liver.

Function of liver
It helps in digestion of fats,it makes proteins
which are important of blood clotting and
other functions,it helps in removing harmful
chemicals from blood stream in the form of
waste material.

Stomach - Our stomach is the digestive


organ that is located in the upper
abdomen,under the ribs,it is a pear shaped
muscular organ.

Function of stomach
Here the food particles are broken down and
are mixed with some digestive juices,the
juices made by the glands in the lining of the
stomach help to digest the food partially.

Intestine - The intestine are located


between the stomach and the anus and are
divided into : the small intestine and the large
intestine
Small Intestine - It is a long, thin tube about
22feet long.
Function of Small intestine
Here, the digestion of the food continues
and gets completed,the blood absorbs the
nutrients from the digested food
