the sentence is said to be in the ACTIVE VOICE. These
examples show that the subject is doing the verb’s
actions.

Phrases and Clauses are essential components of a
sentence without them we cant construct meaningful and
coherent sentence and paragraph

meaning the form verb changes . The pronoun also
changes depending on the given sentence.

He says , I am happy- He says he is happy.

Plural Subject takes plural verb
Notes:
 Some Nouns used as a subject that ends in S are
singular
“ falls, news , ethics , statistics, politics etc.
Ex. The news spreads so fast.
 Someone , Somebody , Anyone , anybody - are
SINGULAR
Someone is doing his homework
 Subjects joined by And usually have plural verb
However if the two subjects refer to same person or thing
it takes singular verb
