Part 3.
⚫ Explain your observation about most important things (at least two) by comparing

the result of Part 1 and Part 2 activities. [1.5+1.5]

1) The first thing I noticed was the time difference and the fact that it took me and the
participants longer to find our own names whereas in the second part, it took less time
since we just had to pop the balloons and hand them to the respective participant.
2) In the first part of the experiment, my intuition wasn’t strong enough to have picked
up my own balloon but in the second part, I picked the right balloon.

⚫ Try to find out lessons that we can learn from this activity as a student who study
Environmental Sciences. Relate this activity to Environmental Issue. [ /2]

What I learned from this experiment was that rather than throwing someone else’s
balloon back on the floor, I helped the participant by handing it to them. How I relate
this activity to environmental issues is that by providing a helping hand to others,
problem solving can be easier and more efficient.

Students who do this activity at home, please take photos while you do and add
two of them here as an evidence. (For example, one of showing the balloons,

papers before activity and one with your family member holding popped balloons
and name papers etc.). Students who attend class physically do not need to add

photos here.
