Content
PW2 The motion of objects can be described and predicted using the laws of physics. (ACSSU229) Students:
• a. describe the relationship between force, mass and acceleration
• d. analyse everyday situations involving motion in terms of Newton's laws
DESCRIPTION OF TASK:
This depth study consists of a series of lessons that are teacher guided, group and independent work.
• In groups of 3-4, students will conduct an experiment on Newton’s 2nd Law of motion.
Submission will be via a special google classroom just for Yr 10 Depth Study.

regarding the task.
NB: Students will attend all timetabled lessons or scheduled school activities on the school day prior to an
assessment task. Where a task is due later in the day, then students must attend all lessons prior to the task on that
day
If the student is absent for a valid reason consult the assessment handbook for all information relating to illness
and misadventure.
If proof of illness or leave is not approved, then the student’s assessment mark for that task may be reduced.
