I. Group task:
Instruction: Using your own words and 5 sentences each part, describe the important
feature/s of the macro parts of a research format.
A. INTRODUCTION
- The introduction narrates the background of the study that may support the
research. It helps to make the research meaningful and organized. The
introduction states the scope of the study as well as any restrictions or limits the
validity or generalizability of the findings. It discusses the importance of the
research and how it could improve the subject of study. It locates the general
purpose and significance of the study in the introduction, which also assists in
identifying the principles of the study or issue.
C. METHODOLOGY
- A research methodology is a structured process that is used in organizing a
study. It provides steps in order to collect data and analyze the said data. It is
also utilized to tackle research questions to guarantee soundness and validity. It
can also be an outline for the researchers that guides them to be more involved
in the field of study that they have chosen. The research methodology can also
be a basis for future researchers if it is applicable for their study.

E. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
- The Summary of Findings is an important part in research because it has the
aspects and outcomes of the research. It gives an overview of the most crucial
understanding and recommendations that the paper gives. It features the results
and has the overall summary of the findings. It also plays an important part in
supporting the research hypotheses and objectives. All in all, it summarizes the
research findings, making them effective for the readers.
A. INTRODUCTION
1. Background of the study
- The background of the study gives the introductory information and knowledge
that will be discussed throughout the research paper. It introduces the research
topic and it shows the readers the existing gaps that remain unaddressed in the
field of study that the researcher has chosen.
2. Statement of the problem
- The statement of the problem helps the researchers determine how to address
the problem and find answers. Also, it will inform and influence the readers if
the proposed project has a clear and sincere statement.
3. Assumption of the Study
- The assumptions of the study prove that the researchers did a prior analysis of
the topic and its background. It states that they were able to draw conclusions
based on their knowledge from a review of studies and literature.
4. Hypothesis of the Study
- The hypothesis is that you do it before you do an experiment or after you get the
result, which is where the two variables come into play. Null means a negative
statement, where there are some that we cannot use here, we can also use
"H0", If the alternative hypotheses are contrary, we can also use "H1" here.

C. METHODOLOGY
1. Research Method and Design
- Research methods and research design are crucial in any research paper, but this
will be the key to achieving the goal in research study. To be able to achieve a
well-designed research study with the appropriate results, research methods
and research design is beneficial for constructing precise and reliable findings
that can help in a given field study.
INQUIRIES, INVESTIGATION, AND IMMERSION
2ND SEMESTER
- Data analysis is the process of exploring and interpreting complex data sets to
derive insights and conclusions using statistical and computational techniques.
By presenting their findings in a thought paper, authors can provide objective
evidence to support their arguments and conclusions.
D. INTERPRETATION OF DATA
1. Result
2. Discussion
- The discussion helps the researchers when the time comes to synthesize a
conclusion, it is basically an unsummarized conclusion. It also helps the readers
of the study by bridging a connection between the data and the conclusion,
when they don’t understand some part of the conclusion, they can look for a
more complete answer in the discussion of the study.
E. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
1. Conclusion
- Conclusion is a vital part of the research paper because it provides the overall
findings of the research paper. By looking back from the specific information

Cupla:
- The most essential details when conducting new research are the title, introduction,
methodology, results, and discussion. The title is essential as it determines whether the
information is fascinating, readily available, or requires critical thinking. The introduction
is where the challenge comes in because this is where you will find out past research
about your chosen title. One of the questions we might pose in the introduction is, "Can
you complete your study with the task that your teacher has assigned?" questions that
either we or others can respond to. Methods This is one of the most crucial sections
since it represents the idea of our whole study, and its implications may be applied to
future studies. Future researchers are the ones who will benefit from our study, and they
can read or use our research as articles. In addition, Results and discussion, when I hear
the word results, the first thing that comes to my mind is the outcome of the project.
Was our research done? Did we provide enough information so that the research would
be adequate, or is there still a problem that has to be corrected? Questions that you can

Dela Cruz:
- When I think of the four crucial components of a research paper, I think of the
background of the study, theoretical framework, review of related literature, and
conclusion. I don’t think there’s a possibility of a research successfully working out
without these four, even if given a chance to formulate your own research format. For
starters, the background of the study and theoretical framework enables readers to
understand the gaps the study has to bridge and solidifies the foundation the research is
based on. With the review of related literature and conclusion, It allows researchers to
further improve the findings derived from the study and concludes the paper in a proper
manner. These are the four important parts that I think should always be included when
making a research paper.
Doron:
- As for me, background of the study, statement of the problem, review of related
literature, and the conclusion are the four most important parts that should be included
when proposing new research. The background of the study will help readers fill in any
gaps that haven’t already been addressed. Additionally, it offers the study’s context.
When conducting research to find a solution to a problem, the statement of a problem
will aid in defining and describing the hypothesis. Furthermore, a review of related
literature will also enable us to develop our theoretical knowledge or comprehension.
The final one, the conclusion, is written with the intention of summarizing the research.
Moreover, the conclusion is not replicated by the new idea, but it gives clear and
importance to the study of research.
Enriquez:
- If I were to propose a new research format the 4 most important parts I will include are
the Introduction, Methodology, Interpretation of Data, and lastly the Summary of
Findings. The introduction is very important in research, as it gives a heads up of what
the paper contains, the background of the study, statement of the problem, and also the
significance of the study. Methodology is vital as it comes up with the steps in order to
collect and analyze data. Interpretation of data for it gives the result and answer to the
main question of the study. Summary of findings are also a great part of the research, it
provides the conclusion and recommendations to the whole paper.

Javier:
- I'd consider that the most important parts would be the conclusion, statement of the
problem, theoretical framework, and review of related literature and studies. When
researchers study and look for their needed literature, the conclusion is one of the first
parts that they read, it establishes the result of the whole study and what it really
achieved, without the conclusion, it would be hard to identify what the study found. The
statement of the problem is crucial as well, it sets the direction of the study and where
it's trying to go, and fully states its goals, without it, the study would be vulnerable to
being too broad or vague. The theoretical framework is also important as it is essentially
the architecture of the study, it is the structure that it is built on, without the theoretical
framework, the study could be unorganized and hard to defend. Finally, the review of
related literature and studies sets the background of the study and basically comprises
the whole story of the topic, without it, the study wouldn't be very substantial and it
would have missing contexts.
Loleng:
- If I were to propose a new research format, the four important parts that I would include
are the Background of the study, Statement of the problem, Review of Related
Literature, and Conclusion. I chose the Background of the study because it introduces
the overview of the topic, as well as the significance of it. It also helps the readers to
know why the research is crucial and how it is relevant to the study’s framework.
Statement of the problem, because it helps to recognize the research gap and the
knowledge the study aims to answer. It specifies the problem or questions the research
aims to solve. Review of Related Literature, as it involves an analysis of existing literature
that is relevant to your research topic. And lastly, the Conclusion, as it summarizes the
findings of your overall research.

Marfe:
- If I were to propose a new research format I would most certainly include; The
statement of the problem, Review of related literature and studies, Theoretical
framework and lastly the Conclusion. The statement of the problem guides the
researchers on how it will address the problem and sets the direction of the study.
Without it, The study will not have a specific set of objectives to address the problem.
The Review of related literature and studies also provides its vital role. Without it, the
study wouldn't be highly important and would lack context because it provides the
study's background and tells the whole narrative of the topic. The theoretical framework
is essentially the skeleton or framework of the study, without the theoretical
framework, the study would simply be unkempt and very hard to defend from the
panelists. Last but not least, The conclusion. The conclusion is an important part of the
research paper, it provides the accumulated findings of the research paper, without the
conclusion, it would be difficult to determine what the study identified because It
establishes the outcome of all of the research and what it actually achieved.
Nacion:
- I think that the four most important parts to be included in a new research format, if I
were to make one, would be the Introduction, RRL, Methodology, and the Summary.
Introduction is important, because it opens your research topic. The RRL is the
compilation of prior research that is somewhat related to your study, and the
Methodology is how you're going to conduct the research. Methodology is required
because it is important to be very transparent when conducting your research to ensure
that nothing is falsified. The Summary is the last, because it compiles all your data and
puts it neatly in one location, for easy access.
