WHAT IS UPCYCLING?
The term upcycling means to reuse
discarded objects or something that
you don’t use anymore to create a
product of higher quality or value.
People usually confuse upcycling
with recycling but is not the same
thing. Recycling is when you reuse
waste and with some steps, it is
processed and converted
something usable, not necessarily
something more valuable. The main
objective of upcycling is
decrease the waste in
environment and give new uses to
items that are considered waste or
unnecessary. Our project consists
of a mirror decorated with bottle
caps. This idea will be created with
an old mirror and different bottle
caps that are usually put in the
trash. If anyone wants to do this at
home, they can use a round or
rectangular mirror and bottles caps
with different or same sizes.
this creative activity, we are helping
the environment by reducing waste,
and inspiring other people to do it
too.
INTRUCTIONS STEPS
The following instructions will help you
create the bottle cap mirror and have a
new item to decorate any room of your

06 Wait until it is dry and add a rope, thread, or
hook to the back of the mirror to fixed on the
wall.

the center of the cardboar, as seen in figure

Organize the bottle caps around the mirror

Warning: The hot glue gun must be out of reach from
children, because they can get burned. Be careful with
spray paint because it contains harmful chemicals and
fumes.
