Executive Summarry

Food business has been a really big trend lately. With the partnership
of Reynold Rarama, Mark Cj Ocampo, John Flores, and John Carlo Medrano
saw the opportunity to bring their favorite food to the market, a deli sandwich.
A well-crafted sandwich is a delightful combination of flavors and textures,
offering a satisfying and convenient meal experience. Its layers of fresh
ingredients, from crisp lettuce to savory meats and creamy condiments,
create a harmonious symphony of tastes. With each bite, a sandwich
provides comfort, nourishment, and a burst of culinary joy. These sandwiches
would be warm and fresh as we would make these in front of our customers.

Dehlicous Sandwiches main competitors are the business that are


also going to be in the event and also fellow food businesses. Its advantage
lies on how fast, cheap and delicious and the unique way of making it. The
main ways of marketing that would be done for the business will be the eye
catching sign, the uniqueness from other businesses, giving out flyers and
our employee giving his best attracting customers on his/her cosplay.

Dehlicious Sandwiches is a partnership between Reynold Rarama,


Mark Cj Ocampo, John Flores, and John Carlo Medrano, students who are
currently studying in Worldstar College of Science and Technology. The
business will be wholly funded by the founders. Major costs, materials for the
stall and ingredient purchases would total in to an estimate of Php2000.
Projected sales for the three days that it would happen would will be an
estimate of PHP3000. On which our business will have a profit of PHP1000
for a month of it being established.

Opening day is scheduled to be at November 23, 2023. While


Dehlicious Sandwiches will only be open for a three days. It’s potential for
growth could be seen as it is very unique to the Filipino taste. Within these 3
days, we would be aiming to get as much profit as possible.
I. Business Description

Dehlicous Sandwiches is a partnership between Reynold Rarama,


Mark CJ Ocampo, John Flores and John Carlo Medrano. The business will
start operating from November 23 this year. The products offered are deli
sandwiches that are in many variations, but the central point would be our
shredded chicken deli sandwiches while the pulled pork and vegan variation
are just side characters.

This business aims to provide customers the most filling and delicious
sandwiches each time they visit the stall by using fresh ingredients sourced
whenever possible. This commitment will lead to us to heights that we are
aiming to reach on which will give us enough funding for a better stall and
equipment.

This food business will be located at the Roxas Astrodome. This


premise was picked as this will be the place where the annual foundation
week of Worldstar College of Science and Technology will be held. This
means that many students and bystanders will be here which can lead for
many prospective customers that may become loyal customers to our
business.
II. Product/Service

What makes our product very distinct from everything is on how filling,
healthy and delicious it is and also at a very decent price of ₱60 for each
sadwiches. The business offers 3 different varieties of deli sandwiches, which
are shredded chicken deli, pulled pork and vegan style. The shredded
chicken deli will be presented as our main product to the market. It’s a deli
sandwiches which consists of bread, lettuce, tomato and shredded chicken. A
lot of effort was made to make this product as we tried many different styles
and changes to further fit the Filipino taste. We also have a product mixed
with our sandwiches, a refreshing fresh buko pandan juice.

III. Market and Competition


Customers
The target market of this business are students of Worldstar College of
Science and Technology and the bystanders that are going to watch the
annual foundation week of our school. These customers would be looking for
delicious, cheap and filling food. Most of these customers would be students
who are ranging from 16-21 which wouldn’t have much of an Income as they
are still students who doesn’t have a job.

Competition
There are many competitors in this type of business as food business
is really a common thing. But the more underlying problem is the sheer
number of students who are also going to be selling their own products at the
annual foundation week. Most competitors would have a very unique product
and many varieties, while ours are just sandwiches and not a wide array of
meals that could be serve to the customers. We do have the edge of being a
faster, easy and filling meal rather than many of the competitors on the food
business. But to be more successful in the business we all must show a very
good customer service, consistency and most of all keep the sandwiches as
fresh as possible.

IV. Marketing and Selling Strategy

Marketing would be really hard as this business has a very tight


timeframe, so there are many things that we would do to market our own
product. The tight timeframe is a very important thing as it limits the scope of
our marketing and the would be reach of said marketing. So here are some
marketing and selling strategies that could be used in our case.

Dehlicious Sandwiches menu will be posted before the event will


commence for prospective customers to see and peak their interests to our
product.

Dehlicious Sandwiches would also be giving out flyers to students


while the event is going on to reach more of the market and many
prospective customers.
An employee would cosplay and attract customers to our stall for the
whole event.

V. Financial Components

We are seeing a stable cashflow for a month. Most of the profit made
from the products would cover the liabilities and expenses that we would
have while the rest would be the net profit that we would have going to our
income.

We are expecting a rough start on our first day as sandwiches are not
really that appealing but we are also expecting for it to change as soon as
noon hits where people would be going hungry and would look for an easy
meal for them to eat, that’s when we will come to the picture. For the next
coming days it’s expected that people who hadn’t had their breakfast would
also come to us in the morning and the noon and afternoon would be where
our business boom as many would be looking for cheap and easy meals.

Expenses of the business would only be limited on to the wrappings,


food stall that we would be using, and the gas that would be used to cook
the fillings that our deli sandwiches would have.

We are planning to make a profit of at least 50% of our initial budget.


This plan would be carried out on a very passionate manner as we would be
so consistent on pleasing our customers and wouldn’t stop our marketing
until the day the event ends.
