platform should be made of concrete slab with sufficient
reinforcement and foundation for full load. There should be
intermediate floor to accommodate store room, class room and
other Lifesaving appliances such as throwing type life raft, life
buoy etc. The platform may be designed as per picture and even
with steel and concrete structure. The class rooms may be
separated. All the LB, LR, RB and other survival craft launching
system should be in same floor. The structure should be in
accordance with STCW and international MET standard.
