    Virgilio Waskin, a 60-year-old widower was robbed with a bullet wound in the
    face on Saturday, September 3, 2023 in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City. The police believed
    that robbery was the motive in killing and said at least P70,000 cash and pieces of jewelry
    amounting to P100,000 were also missing from the victims house. Police said it was
    possible that the victim was asleep when the culprit broke into his house.
