SUBJECT : Final Report on Violation of article 246 of the Revised Penal Code

2. January 23, 2022 on or about 02: 00 AM at Cacutud Street Laguna
3. On January 23, 2022, at about 2 am, at Cacutud Street Laguna. The victim,
Ms. Criselda Munoz y Arcilla, 27 years old, a resident of Cacutud Street Laguna, was
found in their house full of stabs all over her body and she was immediately rushed to
Laguna Hospital for treatment but later on expired. The suspect escaped from the
back the door of the house, named Alberto Cunanan, 32 years old, a resident of 79
Bayumbong Street Laguna. The escape of Mr. Alberto Cunanan was witnessed by
Mrs. Maria Gumabao, 48 years old, a resident near the house of Ms. Arcilla chased
the suspect but the suspect run too fast.
4. The suspect, Mr. Alberto Cunanan enter the house of the victim forcibly
when she was in the middle of sleep, according to the witnessed Mrs. Maria
Gumabao, he always sees Mr. Alberto passing in the house of the victim even though
it is not the way through their house. He enters the door to rape the victim, but the
victim struggled with him, so Mr. Alberto Cunanan grab a 7 inches knife in the kitchen
and started to stab Ms. Crizelda Munoz y Arcilla resulting in multiple stabs in her body
and later on expired in the hospital. Mrs. Maria Gumabao who was a vendor near the
house of Mrs. Maria Gumabao witnessed the escape of Mr. Alberto and chased him
but the suspect run too fast, based on the testimony of the witness she sees the
suspect fully bloody in his white t-shirt and maong short and going to the north part of
the sitio. Temptation is the primary motive of the suspect, explaining why he
committed the crime. After what Mrs. Maria Gumabao saw he immediately reported
the incident at the Cacutud Police Station.
5. As the witness reported what she sees the Cacutud Police Station
immediately dispatched its people to the crime scene and nearby barrio so that they can
easily find the suspect and asked for the cooperation of the family of Mr. Alberto
Cunanan to tell them where can they possibly find the hideout of Mr. Alberto Cunanan
to immediately arrest him.
6. The suspect Mr. Alberto Cunanan was turned over to the Cacutud Police
Station and admitted all his actions that result in the death of Ms. Arcilla, he admit
that he is under the influence of intoxication at that time.
7. A case for Rape with Homicide under Violation of RA 8353 & 8505 Article
266 B of the Revised Penal Code has already been filed at the City
Prosecutors Office against the suspect Mr. Alberto Cunanan. Please be
informed that on February 13, 2022 at about 04:00 PM a criminal complaint
for said offense was filled at Cacutud Prosecutors office City of Laguna
through Honorable Prosecutor Juan C Dela Cruz. Docketed under 2022-01-
