Facts of the case :

On July 20, 2023, at Carmelite Monastery in Mabolo, Cebu City, Mauricio A. Poblacion, 21,

of Barangay Pari-an, snatched a victim's wallet. Witness Russeline R. Tubalde promptly

alerted the police, leading to Mauricio's arrest. The stolen wallet was recovered, and legal

proceedings ensued, with the victim represented by Jhandy J. Bolando of Barangay Ballang,

Davao City.
