GENERAL RULES :
- Participants will be given 1 minute for the audition round.
- In the case of Solo Dance Competition, Participants will be given 3 minutes for solo
performance.
- In the case of Group Dance Competition, Participants shall be given 4-5 minutes to
perform and 2 minutes for setup. Setup time starts counting as soon as you step on the
stage. As the set-up is completed, an indication shall be given for the start of the
performance.
- Participants can perform either on live music and recorded tracks for Folk dance and
they are required to arrange their own music instrument and accompanist if any.
- Vulgarity and provocative acts will not be tolerated.
- No bollywood tracks are allowed and kindly note that the lyrics of the tracks selected
must not be provoking or vulgar in nature or targeting any religion, individual or group.
Any attempt of provoking the mass will not be tolerated and in this case, the participant
shall be disqualified.
- Costumes of the participants should not contain any Vulgarity.
- The organizers hold the right to interrupt or drop your performance any time,
regardless of the time limit, based on indecent track, dance steps, misuse of props,
costumes.

 - Top 10 participants of Round 1(Auditions) will be selected for the second round of the
Event (of each mentor).
- Top 3 participants of Round 2 (Prop) will be selected for the third round of the Event
(of each mentor).
- Round 03 will be organized with the performances of the participants and a final face-
off between the top 3 of the Finale Round.

performed over karaokes, with or without accompaniment by musical instruments under the
guidance of the allotted mentors.

RULES :
- A participant will be given 4-6 minutes in total including stage set up and clearance
time from the point their name is announced. There will be a warning indication after
the completion of 4 minutes of performance.
- The lyrics must not be provocative or vulgar and any attempt of provoking the mass
will not be tolerated and in this case, the participant shall be disqualified.
- Top 10 participants of Round 1(Auditions) will be selected for the second round of the
Event (of each mentor).
- Top 3 participants of Round 2 (Theme Based) will be selected for the third round of the
Event (of each mentor).
- Round 03 will be organized with the performances of the participants and a final face-
off between the top 3 of the Finale Round.
- Participants shall have to arrange their own instrument & accompanist as and
when required. No extra setup shall be provided.
- No bollywood tracks are allowed and kindly note that the lyrics of the tracks selected
must not be provoking or vulgar in nature or targeting any religion, individual or group.
Any attempt of provoking the mass will not be tolerated and in this case, the participant
shall be disqualified.
- The organizers hold the rights to enforce changes in the matter depending upon
the suitability to the university without prior notice.

Description : Participants must show their musical acts from a range of different styles, to
compete for the title of ‘Best Band Of LPU’

RULES
- All bands must contain a minimum of three (3) members.
- Bands may bring one roadie to assist them with set-up and break-down and that
person must also be listed on the registration form.
- On the day of performance, band members must be dressed in clothing free from
obscenities.
- Band name and lyrics of performance songs should not contain any obscenities.
- Band members are responsible for the security of their equipment.
- There will be a strict time limit of 15 minutes for each band on stage.
- Bands may not use pre-recorded sound material. All bands must play live.
- No bollywood tracks are allowed and kindly note that the lyrics of the tracks selected
must not be provoking or vulgar in nature or targeting any religion, individual or group.
Any attempt of provoking the mass will not be tolerated and in this case, the participant
shall be disqualified.

Description : Participants will be in a team of two on both the teams, After that a topic will
be announced, both the teams will be given time to debate their points under the guidance of
the allotted mentors.

RULES:
- Each team will be given 6 minutes to speak and express their ideas on the given topic.
- After both the teams have expressed their ideas 8 minutes will be provided for final
cross questioning among the teams.
- No external help will be entertained while participating eg: AI tools, paper, mobiles,
laptops, earpieces etc.
- There must be no vulgarity used during the debate nor in the words written
in the speech. Anyone found doing so will be disqualified.
- The organizers hold the rights to enforce changes in the matter depending upon
the sustainability to the university without prior notice.
- Top 4 participants(of each mentor) of Round 1(Audition) will be selected from each
format for the Grand Finale of Event.

AUDITIONS:
- The participants will be given a topic and will be given 2 min to prepare and note down
their points.
- The marks will be allotted as per the judgment criteria.

FINALE:
- The judges will select the winning team as per the judgment criteria.

be given before the actual start of competition under the guidance of the allotted

Description : Participants must show their modeling abilities, and answer the questionnaire
under the guidance of the allotted mentors.

RULES:

● The first round will be Eliminator round, where participants will be selected based
on their portfolio and walk and must present live in front of the judges.
● Theme for Round 1 is Halloween.
● Height of Female participant should be (around 5'5"(165cm) minimum) .
● Height of Male participants should be from 5'8" (176 cm) to 6'2" (188 cm) .
● Walking or performing to Bollywood music is not acceptable.
● Models will be judged on costumes, theme, walking stance and attitude.
● Selected participants will be moving for the next round.
● Decency should be maintained
● No offensive attire will be permitted
● Round 2 will be dozed with a questionnaire and talent round to determine the
winner. Participants must present live in front of the judges.
● All the necessary information will be circulated through emails. Participants are
required to keep checking their mailbox regularly.
● Top 5 participants of Round 1(Eliminator) will be selected from each format for the
Grand Finale of Event.

GUIDELINES:
● The organizers hold the right to make any changes in the event rulebook or event
calendar without any prior notice.
● Winner and First runner-up will get the trophy with the merit certificates while
Second runner-up will get only merit certificates.

Event : Paridhan.

Description : Contestants should note that it is not a fashion designing competition but a
fashion show. Hence the emphasis in this competition is not on the clothes you design but on
how you carry yourselves in those clothes and depict a story or a theme through your attires,
walks and choreography under the guidance of the allotted mentors.

RULES:

1. There should be 8-24 Models per team exclusive of the designer, choreographer,
manager and one more supporting member for music and light.
2. A team shall be given a maximum of 15 minutes including set up and clearance for
their performance. However, it is mandatory that a team performs for a minimum of
6 minutes.
3. Your time starts counting as soon as the name of the team is announced.
4. A T-shaped extension will be provided on the main stage (can be modified as per the
circumstances).
5. A person per team must be there to manage sound and lights each.
6. Emphasis will be given to Themes, Walking Style, Props, Originality, Make Up &
Choreography, and Stage Utilization.
7. No props and costumes will be provided by the organizers. Teams must bring their
own costumes and props.
8. Use of materials like candles, fire, cigarettes, alcohol, and any hazardous materials on
stage is prohibited.
9. Two copies of soundtrack to be submitted prior to the show in standard audio format.
a. WAV or .MP3 of sound quality 320 KBPS or above to the organizers (in Pen
Drive, no laptops).
10. Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification of the team from the event.
Hence, if the team feels that any stunt or costume design can be deemed as vulgar or
appealing nudity, it is strongly advised to consult organizers rather than performing
it directly on stage. It is also advised to all the teams that in case of dresses and
attires of female above knee cap, stockings (black/cream/skin) as per suitability of
the attire must be worn as no dress above knee length or low necklines are allowed.

11. A green room would be provided for changing purpose separately for boys and girls
but the same may be shared by two or more teams.

12. The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final and binding in all
respects.
13. Academies & Clubs such as Dance/Theatre /Music /Film Production/ Photography/
Sports etc. are also permitted to participate, the festival being an open festival.
14. An individual can be a part of more than one team in this competition. However, the
organizers shall not be responsible if the team in which the individual is participating
gets a subsequent slot of performance.

Event : Lights, Camera, Reel (Short Video Making Competition)
Venue : Online
Description : Participants must create a short video / Reel / Shorts and provide the Video
link to the organizing committee. The Short Video must contain a Story or a lesson or must
showcase any issue in the society and also provide a solution to the issue highlighted by them
under the guidance of the allotted mentors.

RULES :
● The reel must be an original creation. You can only be inspired by existing trends
online. Plagiarized content will lead to disqualification.
● Any offensive, name-calling, derogatory remarks, and/or regional slang towards any
person or community should be strictly prohibted.
● The video should not exceed 60 Seconds.
● Individual, as well as group entries (not more than 4 people), are allowed.
● Please use one medium of language for the reels. The submissions can be in either
English or Hindi.
● Each Participant will accept only one entry, and a second entry will lead to
disqualification.
● As per Reel format, the video should be made vertically and not horizontally.
● Themes are : College life, Hostel life, Reality vs Expectations and Homesickness.
● Kindly note that the content selected must not be provoking or vulgar in nature or
targeting any religion, individual or group. Any attempt of provoking the mass will not
be tolerated and in this case, the participant shall be disqualified.

Description : Participants must click photographs of the campus and provide it to the
organizing committee under the guidance of the allotted mentors.

RULES
● The photographs for all the themes must be captured inside LPU Campus itself.
● The entry must be the original work of the student.
● Photographs must be in digital format and shall be submitted to the organizing
committee in the form of a colorful print on a 5x7 inches size sheet.
● The printouts will be exhibited during the promotions of the event and the best of the
day will be chosen every day.
● The final exhibition of the best ones will be conducted during the event.
● High dynamic range (HDR) images and stitched panoramas are NOT acceptable.
● The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsor,
contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise
objectionable or inappropriate content.
● The photograph should be submitted within 2 days of the duration of the competition.
● The day of the competition starts as soon as the candidates register themselves for the
event.

RULES :
● The participated team can perform on any of the below topics :
Social Cause.
● Number of participants in a team should be minimum
● The team must provide all the necessary soundtracks and recordings 4 days prior to
their event and performance.
● Maximum time for Street Play should be 12 minutes. First warning bell will be
given after 10 mins and final warning bell after 12 mins. There will be negative
marking if teams exceed the performance time. Negative marking for exceeding the
time limit.
● Teams using any props must bring all their requirements and must be ready well in
time as per instructions of the organizer.
● Decision of Judges will be final and binding on all teams and no objections shall be
entertained.
● Teams should have decency and decorum in the behavior, attire and performance. In
case of Abusive language and indecent behavior, the team will be disqualified.
● Any kind of fluids, live animals, flames, heavy objects, colors or any other material
which has a possibility of damaging the venue is STRICTLY prohibited. If any such
practice is conducted by the participants, the team will be disqualified.
● Script of the play should be submitted prior to the organizing committee.
