RE: IMPERIAL HOMES CAUGHT UP IN US$270,000.00 FRAUD CASE;
REQUEST FOR RETRACTION AND APOLOGY

We write with respect to the above subject and act as Solicitors for and on behalf of
IMPERIAL HOMES LIMITED (client).

Our client’s attention has been drawn to the above publication by your media outlet
dated 10th November,2023 on your website and 22nd November,2023 in your
newspaper with other online media portals publishing same.

The headings for the publications on the date stated above read “Police hide
US$270,000 fraud docket” and “Imperial Homes caught up in US$270,000 fraud case”
respectively.

Whiles the inconsistency in your headline does not surprise us, we are directed by our
client, who is least pleased with your lack of professionalism to with immediate effect
withdraw, retract, and render an unqualified apology to it through the same mediums
you published the articles.

After a careful reading of your reportage, the use of our client’s name and the picture
of its respected CEO is a calculated effort to ruin the hard-earned reputation of our
client.

Additionally, your report did not state at least once where our client was involved in
this alleged fraud.

We find your publication as a malicious attempt to bring into disrupt the hard-earned
image of our client who has consistently conducted its business activities with not
short of absolute integrity and professionalism.

Our client is a respected brand when it comes to real estate business in Ghana and
beyond. It is widely reported as a world class real estate business owned by a
Ghanaian in Ghana and beyond. It is also known for its numerous philanthropic works
within the country none of which has been published by your media outfit.

We hereby write on behalf of our client requesting that you print an immediate
retraction and apology directed to our client for having stated its prestigious name
and for putting up a picture of the CEO on your front page to garner unnecessary
attention when our client is not a party to the actual matter in court.

We are hoping that our request above is executed within the next 24 hours upon
receipt of this letter failing which we are instructed by our clients to take every legal
action available against you and your outfit should you refuse or delay in carrying out
our request within the stated period.

We expect the retraction to receive the same prominence as the original publication
did.

You are accordingly advised.
