Dear Mr. Bassey,

NOTICE OF RENT INCREASE

The above-named, hereby write as Property Managers of the property of Mr. Akinwoye
Josiah Ajiboye herein referred to as the Landlord of the 2-bedroom apartment which you
currently occupy at Plot 16, Cadastral Zone, Karu, Abuja.

You will agree with us, that our client’s property remains one of the cheapest in the vicinity
and has so been for some years. However, we are constrained to review the current rental
value from N650,000 (Six Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) to N900,000 (Nine Hundred
Thousand Naira) beginning from the year 2024. This is because our client intends to further
improve on the facilities on the property whilst also keying into the prevalent market rental
value of properties in the host vicinity.

Therefore, take this letter as a formal notification of increase of the annual rent in respect of
the property and we believe this serves as a sufficient notice of

Kindly confirm your acceptance of these terms by a written response.

However, should you reject the terms of this increase, kindly prepare to vacate the property
upon the expiration of your current term.

In the meantime kindly accept the assurances of our warm regards.
