    Please take this as an acknowledgement of your correspondence on notice of renewal of our


    rent dated 22nd of September 2023. Whilst we agree that the Landlord has the right to review
    rent as he deems it fit, the material time vis-a-vis the business climate and the prevailing
    economic condition will make increasing the rent from N1,000,0000.00 to N1,370,000.00 a
    difficult financial burden to bear.

    We therefore plead that the new rent be reviewed downward to N1,200,000.00 which is
    about 20% increase for affordability and timely payment.
