“Am I Good or Evil?”

When I think of a person, I often envision the living essence inhabiting the physical form of a man
or woman. What distinguishes us as humans is the profound responsibility we carry for every action we
undertake. In the eyes of the law, ignorance is no excuse, and thus, I find myself held accountable for my
deeds, regardless of whether they are deemed virtuous or malevolent. So, when I stole a loaf of bread and
gave it to the homeless, I began to ponder: Are such actions truly good, bad, or perhaps more nuanced?
This reflection is a personal exploration into the intricate realm of human acts, their moral dimensions, and
the pivotal roles that my willful consent and knowledge play in shaping the consequences of my actions.

Human acts, as I understand them, are actions inherently tied to our human nature, characterized
by two crucial elements: willful consent and a comprehensive understanding of the action. To fully embody
my humanity, I believe I must engage my intellect and exercise my free will when making choices. As a
college student, my actions offer clear examples of deliberate human acts driven by specific goals. Take,
for instance, my commitment to studying; each late night session and daily effort are aimed at achieving
excellence in my academics. These actions lead to deeper reflection, prompting me to consider the extent
of my commitment and my full awareness of the implications they carry.

At the heart of human acts lies my conscious awareness of where my actions may lead. However,
I acknowledge that this realm is not always straightforward. Reflecting on a heartbreaking news story, I
vividly recall an incident where a man took a life—a mother and her son named Gregorio. The motive behind
this heinous act was as perplexing as it was tragic. It was reported that the assailant's daughter had been
insulted in what seemed like a minor dispute. Nevertheless, the police officer in question, despite the
seemingly trivial nature of the provocation, resorted to extreme violence without hesitation and committed
a miserable crime. This event deepened my understanding: While this act may be categorized as a Human
Act, it transpired without the expected deliberation and thoughtfulness we usually associate with such
actions.

I've come to appreciate that human acts are marked by their voluntariness, representing a
fundamental expression of my freedom and always underpinned by my knowledge. The moral dimensions
of these acts hinge upon my intentions and the awareness I bring to their execution. Whether an act is
deemed morally commendable or condemnable depends not solely on the resulting outcomes, but also on
the ethical frameworks through which I evaluate them.

In conclusion, The intricate interplay between my actions and their subsequent ramifications, I find
profound clarity, especially when considering the scenario of stealing a loaf of bread to feed the homeless.
It illustrates the complexity of human acts and their moral evaluation. From a utilitarian perspective, such
an action may be seen as noble, driven by a genuine intent to alleviate suffering. However, a deontological
viewpoint may argue that it infringes upon property rights and is therefore ethically problematic. This
example highlights the subjective nature of human acts, where context and ethical perspectives play a
pivotal role in shaping our judgment

In the ongoing journey of my life as a sentient being, I anticipate that these considerations will guide
my actions and decisions, urging me to be mindful of my intentions and the ethical foundations that shape
my choices. This heightened awareness will not only define the moral character of my actions but also
determine the impact I have on the world around me. Moreover, I'm cognizant that the final result of an
action, as you aptly put it, can have legal consequences, such as imprisonment in the case of theft,
reminding me that the law often emphasizes the significance of our actions' outcomes.

well in advance of the deadline. The reason my assignment was erroneously marked as missing is due to
my oversight in neglecting to press the 'Turn In' button. Maybe because I was so sleepy by that time since
it’s already dawn but still I held myself accountable for this.

Below is the proof and the timestamp of the uploaded file serves as concrete evidence of my
timely submission. I would like to express my sincere apologies for the abrupt and possibly disrespectful
